Hey everybody! Man I leave for a couple of weeks and this place explodes with new people! Very excited to have some new faces around here. Sorry for some of you new ones of not being here. I am the Broncos moderator here so if you have any problems, questions, concerns, or whatever just let me know or obviously you can go to the big dog HammerDown as he is a pretty cool dude and has a pretty great site here.

Anyway my name is Carl. I am a 29 year old new dad to a beautiful little girl. Life has definitely gotten much crazier since she came into our lives. For work I am kind of all over the board. I am a pastor/counselor/EMT/Firefighter/golf and soccer coach in the town I live. That is one of the great things in a small town is you get a lot of opportunities to be involved in about everything you could want.

On here I am known as the guy who writes a book. I don't know how to keep things short. I guess that is why thy let me speak most Sunday's for as long as I want and so far nobody has quite walked out. Beyond that I am on here quite a bit. I am one of those few people that only sleeps a couple of hours a day so because of that I have to find things to fill that time. I probably could do something a little more productive but hey what is the fun in that. Anyway again want to say welcome to the new people and of course a welcome back to a new season to the old guys. The great thing about this site is it is mostly made up of people coming from other sites that shut down. I and quite a few come from the old ESPN boards before they decided to become idiots. Anyway very excited for the new season and great to see that we have some new guys joining us.

Oh wanted to point out if you havent already seen we do have a Fantasy Football group that we do with a lot of the guys from here. Would love to get some new blood so any of you new guys that would like to join please don't hesitate to post in the Fantasy Football post.

Whoa long time no see Malibu. Glad to have you back! Getting more excited for the season after watching this first game. I know it is preseason but definitely showing some promise. Maybe Manning doesn't have to completely carry this team.

Just finally got a chance to read through this. Always love getting to see where all of us are coming from and seeing how we can unite under the fact that we all love the good ol Orange and Blue. I'm also excited that we have another draft guy on here! The regulars will tell you that I might actually enjoy the draft more so than I do the actual Super Bowl (other than when the Broncos are in it of course). Very excited to pick your brain as we get closer to the next draft Draft Crazy.

Anyway looks like we are kicking this season off right getting all the new guys to add to an already great group. We definitely do try to keep the trolling out of the Broncos board. I can't promise the same thing when you go to the General Board. If you ever need a good laugh just go there and see some of the craziness that is going on right now. I think Patriots fans are about to lose their minds over this whole Deflategate thing and Ravens fans can't believe that everybody can't see they are already the Super Bowl Champs.

Beyond just the Bronco board there are some great ones on here to go meander to if you get a chance. Obviously you troll on their boards and it is a quick way to get in trouble on here but the Steelers have a good group and while they are small and this pains me to say the Chiefs actually have some competent guys posting.

Next wanted to add to Cd`s Fantasy Football and draft invites. Loved to have a lot of these new guys participate and their input ( some seem very qualified ) in the draft aspect for sure. Hey Cd, do you still have list of our last draft pks and how well their doing or how many busts we drafted Just curious. Lost mine.

Well this past draft competition here is who we took with the Broncos...

1st round--Cameron Erving. Obviously OL has been our biggest question mark so getting the guy that is about as versatile as they come makes sense.
2nd round--Hau'oli Kikaha. Pretty much the Broncos and I just switched how we did these first two rounds in went for the pass rusher. Nobody had better production in this draft than Kikaha. Injury history and bad combine hurt him but the kid makes plays.
3rd round--Marcus Hardison. I had a theme throughout that I wanted guys who showed up big in college and were play makers. Hardison was a great pass rusher his final year in college.
4th--Garrett Grayson. Obviously none of us know what will happen at the QB position next year so figured I would pick a guy I felt fit our system well with Kubiak.
5th--Chris Conley
5th--Xavier Williams
6th--Zach Vigil

Have to see what happens with this draft. I still really like some of these picks and some of them now I would have to go back and see who was still available that I wish would have gone a bit of a different direction. This draft honestly just didn't quite fall like I wanted. I had about 3 rounds where the guys I wanted were picked right before I drafted.
