You want me to provide a source to prove that parity is not the reason NFL is the most popular sport in the US? You're the one who said it was. The burden of proof is on you.

You honestly think the reason NFL is more popular than MLB is because of parity? If so, please let me know how you define parity in this context.
You said it as an absolute just like I did. Maybe I should have said "it's one of the reasons" just like you should have said its not the only reason.

I did a quick google search and found this however. BTW, I'm not a fan of Bleacher Report, but I found this with no effort.

Don't try to twist this up into a semantics debate.

I said it before, and I'll say it again: parity is not the reason the NFL is the most popular sport in the US. Period. If you asked 100 random NFL fans what is the #1 thing they like about it, I'd bet my middle testicle that zero point zero of them would say "parity."

I think Berman has already said there are flaws on both sides of the case. So what will he do that as he threatened that will not make neither side happy?

Send the whole case back to abritration? 1 game + fine? 2 games? I would be surprised if 0 2, 3 or 4 games is an option.

dance!

On Feb. 28, the Wells team sent an e-mail to Brady and his agent, Don Yee, requesting his cellphone records. Not the phone itself, just the records. Yee responded that he wasn’t willing to turn over Brady’s private cell information, on precedent. While it was reasonable for Wells to collect information from work cellphones issued by the Patriots — Wells already had possession of five phones from Patriots employees and examined their communications with Brady — Brady’s private phone information was simply not necessary, Yee said. Wells wasn’t thrilled, but he accepted it.

I keep asking this question and not one Pat fan has answered. If Brady didn't feel he had to provide his private phone, why did he provide TWO older phones? We're those Flip Phones with no cameras?

Well wouldn't 0 games make Brady happy?

You're using the words of a blogger from a site you're not a fan of to support your position? I wonder how many NFL fans he thinks would answer "parity."

Anyway, what's your definition of parity in this context?
I don't need a blogger to support my position, I was simply providing another person's opinion. I am an NFL fan, and I think parity is one of the main reasons the NFL is so popular in the US.

I am talking about parity in the context of equality. The salary cap creates equality among the 32 teams, which gives most all fans hope each and every year. Now of course you have to have a competent front office to manage the cap properly, scout talent and create a winning atmosphere, but in terms of how much each teams can spend, everything is equal.

I'm not twisting anything up. It is my opinion in which I was responding to some clown stating their is a conspiracy against the patriots to create more parity in the NFL.

I'd sure like to know what lies you believe he has been caught on, because I don't see any.

Read the appeal transcripts. Then read the NFL filing.

It should be obvious at that point, in fact even the NFL isn't denying it.

I am assuming you don't really believe that because I don't think you're a stupid person.

You know there already is parity. That's why it is the most popular sport in the country by a long shot. Besides, if it was about parity, the league would have a conspiracy against the Steelers or Giants since they have both won more SB's than the Pats over the past 10 years.

So really, what is the benefit to the NFL?

Neither have dominated for a decade and a half.

And yes parity is what they want, and neither of those teams have ever threatened it like the Pats have.

Then you must not be reading your own posts because the shit you're laying down is so far beyond logical it's ridiculous.

Or another possibility, you are so far from the ability to follow facts in a case.

A bit off topic, but I am curious to know how, in your mind, this is significantly different from claiming an internet win.
Wins are a stastical measure of success. Being right is just being right.

Hes said since 2000 hea done this, but doesnt always destroy them. Ive held old phones because they had video i wanted or something. Maybe a lazy assistant? Who knows. Its immaterial anyway.
