Nebraska Huskers The Nebraska Football home game vs. the Iowa Hawkeyes on Friday, Nov. 25 in Lincoln has been set for an 11 a.m. (CT) kickoff on ABC. Serious question for Huskers fans. Everybody knows you guys absolutely despise Callahan for what he did while head coach at Nebraska, changing up the offense and making a mockery of the Blackshirt defense. But I am curious to know how much of the defensive struggles from that time period do you guys place on John Blake? Just curious, and I appreciate any thoughts or insights.

Blake is a good position coach. He's just not head coaching material.

Callahan is in the same category. Good position coach, good offensive coordinator.

If I despise Callahan, it's because he kept his buddy Kevin Cosgrove around until he had made a mockery of the Blackshirts and their traditions.

The individual most despised is Steve Pederson, who was the AD at the time. He was fired and is now AD at Pitt.

After the Blake/Tarheel thing came out I was reading a Sooner board and there were some really funny stories about Blake when he was coaching there.

One involved a special mat on the OU sidelines that had a space for each special teams player to stand on to ensure they sent the correct number of players onto the field each time.

I was responsible for one of the most successful bleacherreport scams of all time...........just a few days before the Big 12 Championship game I wrote this article, pretending to be a cocky Texas writer...........and then I watched as Husker fans copied and pasted this link all over the web, just raging over this.............and I thought to myself "yes....success "
