Not going to happen because this last fiasco with having to babysit Jordan to keep him from jumping ship if nothing else shows that they are still the Clippers. Doc Rivers got lucky has well in Boston - If Andrew Bynum and Gasol had been healthy in 2008 - Boston would have had nothing that year

I think Doc is an above average coach. But the fact that he's also handling the GM duties will be his downfall. Reason he was able to win in Boston is quite obvious given the roster Ainge was able to put together.

Their workable bench is entirely made of two 37 year olds in Pierce/Crawford.

They are probably good enough to beat anyone in the first round, but not good enough to survive a long playoff run with that pathetic depth.

The Clippers beat the Spurs in the first round in a grueling series, but had absolutely nothing left in the tank.
It was just a matter of time before they lost. They were not beating GS or Cle either with that exhausted bunch.

"Doc the GM" has screwed the team.
