ESPN Seahawks reporter Terry Blount believes Christine Michael is on the roster bubble.

Blount suggests Michael could lose his spot to impressive UDFA Thomas Rawls, a physical runner who caught the coaching staff's attention at spring practices. The 62nd overall pick in the 2013 draft, Michael has special physical attributes and a 4.88 career YPC average, but has earned just 52 carries through two seasons and has never seemed to earn the coaches' trust. Still only 24 years old, Michael would generate interest on waivers. The Seahawks might be able to get a late-round pick for him if he's made available for trade.

What do you guys think? 5th, 6th or 7th rounder? A powerful back with elite explosiveness (43 in Vert and 10'5 broad jump), dude is just been stuck behind Marshawn Lynch on the depth chart.

I'd trade Bell and a 7th.

I was a huge fan. Had him stashed away on my keeper team for a couple years. Barring a trade to another team in real life, I'll drop him in time for our rookie/FA draft. The NFL is just so full of talent that it's easy for a guy like CM to fall between the cracks.

Would be a hell of a 1-2 punch with him and Abdullah. CM would probably become the best RB on our team immediately.

I'd give up a 6th or 7th to land him as depth/ insurance for Bell.

Except for Bell, Abdullah, and possibly Riddick, I'm sure he would.

If he was good enough to immediately be the best RB on our team he wouldn't be on the roster bubble with the Squawks...

LaGarrett was buried on Steelers depth chart and became a starter on a super bowl squad. I do agree he may not be the best for the Lions. I just don't see him as 4th though.

He's not on the roster bubble w Seattle. He was also drafted higher than all three, Bell, Abdullah and Riddick. There's a very good argument to be made that if he did become a Lion, he'd eventually beat out all 3 for the starting spot.

Sometimes I wonder if the parents of children with these kinds of names simply can't spell, and the nurses end up naming them accidentally. For example, maybe he was really supposed to be a Christian Michael. Just a theory.

It's supposed to be pronounced "Christian," I remember seeing a thing on him back when he was drafted...

Not the 4th, but sharing the #3 role with Riddick. I think we'd basically have Riddick behind Abdullah and Michael behind Bell.

I think he could definitely grow into a great split time-share with Abdullah within a season or two. Ride some more hard miles on Bell and move on to younger, fresher legs next season or in 2017 if Bell still has gas in the tank after this year...

Don't get me wrong on this guy- I'd love to add him for a low draft pick, as he has very explosive measurables and a high NFL career YPC average in limited action. It just gives me some concern that he can't leapfrog the lower-drafted Robert Turbin (who I also would love to add at the right price) on Seattle's depth chart and now there's talk of him being on the roster bubble in training camp. I think a situation where he could be Bell's back-up in our more physical back role while he learns the new offense and gets his feat under him would be ideal for a run at taking Bell's job within a season or two. Low pressure.

TP, he's not on the roster bubble. It's just something an ESPN reporter is suggesting. And I'm not sure why. Robert Turbin is recovering from a hip injury and may not be ready week 1.

In Seattle, there's really no RB depth chart. It's Lynch and everyone else. I think Turbin has only 1 rush TD in his three years there. The Hawks are a true one man RB team who doesn't play the committee game.

Well, the Seahawks are much better than you guys at rb. Lynch is one of the best in the NFL and turbin is a very good back too. I really think CM would be better than any of those RBs.
