Series Thread: 4 game series in Baltimore for Hamilton and the Rangers

Let's turn this season around right here, shall we? We're getting people back. We're just at 500. Second or third in the division. It's all good!!

Split would be awesome. Baltimore can really swing the bat. My opinion hasn't changed tho, If this team can get to the all-star break in one piece. It might still be possible to contend for a wild card or the west.

Split would work nicely for me.

All we're trying to do at this point - from a team perspective IMO - is to not get anyone injured, keep everyone focused as much as possible, and keep a positive message in the clubhouse.

Let's get to the AS break and reassess.

We can hope that the Orioles are playing a DH today with the 2nd game just starting will help us. But only if our offense can do some damage to their starters.

The orioles pitching is a step down from what we've been facing lately. If the Rangers don't hit Norris on Monday, it's on the lineup. Norris has an era higher than 6

Seems like game 1 against O's and Norris may work in our favor. We have been getting killed by LHP even callups. A couple of right handlers in a row is refreshing IMO
I think a win might be in order even with Wandy on mound. Hoping his last outing with his diminished velo is an aberration.

After their win tonight, the O's will have won 18 of their last 23. Gonna have to pitch well and even more important, score lots of runs. Which I hope starts happening sooner, rather than later

Anyone else think Josh will be in CF on Tuesday? I'm so tired of seeing Leonys swing the bat...at everything. If he's not swinging and missing, he's rolling over weakly to 2B.

I am tired of watching Leonys swing the bat, but for the sake of defense it may have to wait until DDJ comes back. Also, IDK if it is better for Josh's health to play a corner spot but whatever they can do too keep him in the lineup, would be in the best interest IMO

Murph, I never know what to expect from this bunch.

It appears when they stink, they do it really well. Like what we saw in April, and what we've seen the last couple weeks. Thats all I know about them, this season. Hope they get hot again soon though, its a lot more fun when they're hitting and scoring runs

Josh was a pretty bad CFer in 2012, can't imagine things have improved with 3 extra years of mileage and coming back from a hamstring issue

I think Josh is going to start somewhere. Isn't he going to be called up Monday? I do think he takes Martins place against Chien at the least. Martin is gonna platoon for a while. Wonder if there is any chance he goes doe to AAA for a spell although still have to appreciate his defense. Something to get his head together
