We better pick up our game if we are not going to continue to regress. The A's always play us tough and no Calvary coming in this series. No schedule excuse either.

And btw, Sonny Gray on Thursday.

Thank god no Kazmir. We finally get a break on that. Since the last A's series, the pitching match ups have been absolutely brutal.

And we have beaten our share but if the offense rolls over and plays dead as they did today it won't matter who pitches for the opposition.

Maybe Jairo Beras is finally starting to flash some of that potential. Since he came back from his latest injury he has the following slash line in 14 games. .309/.368/.538. I have been somewhat disappointed in him the past 2 years, but maybe he is starting to put something together. He is still just 20 years old.

I can open it

I thought everyone could. But if they couldn't, I'd highlight the most important areas and post it.

Thanks for letting me know.

I'm going out on the limb and predict the Rangers come out tonight and play a good game. Score some runs and play overall good defense.

The Dodgers screwed us with that 10:10 PM get-away-game. Then we get to the Chicago hotel after 7 AM, have a 7 PM game, followed by TWO day games. It gets no more brutal than that. And not much was made of it by the media or us.

I believe the Rangers didn't want to hammer on it, but IMO, they screwed us. Hope we get to return serve at some point in time.

Yeah...I knew that. Opps. Meant to say tomorrow night. But got a little too excited there. ha

Honestly think this team needed a day off something fierce.

Oh my! Josey Wales where are you?

You wanna see some good baseball, check out the College World Series. Same two teams from last (Vanderbilt/Virginia) and they both have some really good players.

Vandy won last year, and they had 3 players drafted in the 1st round this season, including their SS at #1.

I think I need a day off myself, and I hope the coaching staff took every opportunity yesterday to coach the players up on the issues that they encountered late in the game w RISP.

Yeah looks it may be a "Pale Rider" type night for me. Don't even think I can watch the CWS tonight

Former Ranger CF Daryl Hamilton was found shot to death in a home in Pearland. Looks like he was murdered and the woman he was with killed herself shortly after. Sad...

That is so sad. I met Darryl's dad at the ASG when it was here. He seemed like a very nice man. I think Darryl started playing here the next year. He was always one of my favorites while he was here because his dad seemed like such a genuinely friendly guy.

According to a release from the department, police were called to a house at 4:45 p.m. Sunday after someone heard gunshots. When officers arrived, police say, they found found a male body near the front entrance. The 44-year-old Jordan was found in another part of the house. Police also found a 14-month old child in the home, unharmed. Hamilton, 50, and Jordan were the parents of the child who is now in Child Protective Services’ care.

“Both of the dead suffered apparent gunshot wounds,” according to the police statement. “Based on the initial investigation, it appeared as if Hamilton was the victim of several gunshots and that Jordan had a self-inflicted gunshot wound.”
