That title goes to Michael Jordan
Actually the title goes to Vince McMahon of all people.
If you don't consider wrestling a sport, then the title goes to Arnold Palmer.

Hate to disagree but Jordan is the only retired billionaire. McMahon is at 750 mill last time I looked
Saw an article recently that pegged Staubach's worth in the 700 million range.
And no, wrestling WWE/WWF style is not a sport any more than the rest of the soap operas on TV.
Thats a shitload of money back when athletes weren't making stupid money like they are now. When you have guys like Ben,Flacco,Eli,Ryan etc making more than 20 mill a season. What a great business sense Roger has, besides being a true American that served

tom brady. i want my son banging a victorias secret model, winning superbowls, and going to the hall of fame.
ladanian tomlinson played his entire career with a vagina.I'm appalled at all the children who have witnessed the abominable conduct of this cheating, lying piece of no-talent shit who shirks all accountability. Hopefully parents everywhere are using him as an example of how NOT to conduct yourself if character and integrity are among their values.
On the opposite end of the spectrum was Reggie White. The complete opposite. A man of integrity who treated others the way he wanted to be treated.

Johnny Unitas, tough as nails, never quit attitude, and a man of high integrity....
Oh and top 2 QB in NFL history wouldn't hurt either.....
Alan Page.
Ridiculously successful athlete, then a ridiculously successful lawyer.
I have him #3 behind Manning and Marino.

I'm going to say Barry Sanders...not so much for what he did on the field, but he lived a fairly modest life style, and when it was time to hang it up...he was able to so on his terms.
Impossible not to be highly impressed with everything about Barry.
All polls have it back and forth between Montana and Unitas for 1 and 2.....Montana was the best ever IMO but they didn't come any grittier or classier than Johnny U....
