He was a leader
He was a great person

I'd go with Merlin Olsen. Kick the crap out of you on the football field every play until the whistle blew at the end of the game every game for nearly 15 years and what an exemplary human being off the field. Knew his responsibilities, promoted the welfare of others, and had his priorities correct. Very rare combo indeed.

Alan Page.

Ridiculously successful athlete, then a ridiculously successful lawyer.

My son's best soccer game this past season he scored 2 goals and saved the game with his final defensive run. He gave the glory to God. No need to mention names.

Champ Bailey...One of my all-time favorite Broncos. He did things the right way of doing all his talking on the field. He never complained, played through injuries if that was what was best for the team, played as smart as any player I have ever seen play the game, and was an oustanding man off the field. Never once in his career did you hear of anything off the field. He also was big in helping train up the younger guys as now Chris Harris is one of the best Corners in the game and he says the reason he is what he is today is because of Champ.

was my post removed?

I jokingly said Aaron Hernandez because he got away with everything for so long......

But in all seriousness. Tedy Bruschi probably would be my answer

Roger Staubach. Served his country for 4 years after a successful college ball career then hit the streets running in Dallas winning a couple of Lombardi Trophies. Now he is quite possibly the wealthiest former Pro Athlete in this country.

Great answer, but Jordan has to be just hitting the 1 Bill mark
GRONK...!,.....nuff' said,.....*sigh/blush*.

Not me I personally know 2 of the goofs he chums and goes every where with, Dana P and Robbie Goon, I would disown my son if he had friends like that. Plus I would want my son with good vocabulary, and not talk like he is punch drunk, sorry
