I just find it odd that some kind of secret motivation is even necessary. I'd think being the finals with a chance to win another ring would be all of the motivation anyone would need.

In all fairness, there is no doubt that Lebron does plenty to "feed the monster" and keep everyone talking about him. But ESPN probably has as much to do with some of the hate he gets as anything, with their non-stop "Lebron Watch" stuff. Folks get tired of having the same thing crammed down their throats over and over.

It's what ESPN does though. I remember during the Pete Carroll era, ESPN spent so much time talking about USC that even I was getting sick of us.

Yeah, LeBrah is an attention whore sometimes. But, compared to the antics and bs of other top level athletes in American sports, he is pretty clean cut and a relatively decent guy. - He hasn't knocked any bitches out, he hasn't beat his kids with a tree branch, he hasn't deflated balls, he hasn't raped chicks, etc.

He's a good example of why I've got to the point of just appreciating athletes for their athletic feats while I can and leaving it at that. Enjoy shit while you can, fellows.
