Yea...shoulda, woulda, coulda. But, in the end your al mighty King made a bad choice and cost them the game. So, the Warriors were lucky the 'best player' in basketball's IQ temporarily shrunk for those quick 24 seconds or so??? Hahahahahahaha this is just too funny.

None of this changes my point. Cleveland was pretty much in control of the game from the start and in the end, they let a W slip away, plain and simple. The Warriors showed great resilience and I have to imagine you guys have to be really relieved that Kyrie is likely out.

You just answered your own question... it's the assumption on Randle. Randle comes out and balls out of control and puts up good numbers, then I doubt the Lakers chase him. But until the Lakers can show an effective PF on their roster the rumor of Love going going back back to Cali Cali, is going to be there.

True. Also, the Love to the Lakers rumors have been going on for years, to the point that other GM's were saying it was a "done deal" and they weren't even going to try, just adds to it.

I guess these rumors will persist until Randle shows he has the position locked down or Love signs long term with someone else. Personally, I hope Randle pans out and the Lakers grab Westbrook when he becomes an FA.

Hahaha now you want help from the peanut gallery?? Didn't the Spurs tear a good one outta LBJ a couple of times?? Now you want them to co-sign for you guys?? LOL

I wasn't asking for help. I was actually recruiting them for your sake.

The Spurs fans know what its like to take Game 1, feel like they have it in the bag only to have their heart ripped out.

Any Bulls, Spurs, Thunder, or Pacers fans that want to step in and give some friendly advice to our Warriors fans about getting cocky after taking Game 1 from LeBron?

I would probably be cocky too. Kyrie is out most likely, Cavs have a slim shot to take one in GS to tie up the series. I dont see any true Warrior fans being cocky, they know who they are lol

Here's a couble dubs fans:
Yes, yes we are fans. I'm not sure why Cavs fans expect us to go 'easy' on them after touting they have the King who also happens to be the best player on the planet. At the end of the day we're fans of a team that actually plays together and uses more than 3 guys on the court. THAT was the difference last night and will be the difference in the entire series.

Warrior fans have pretty much have been just discussing the game as it was.

Cavs fans are the ones telling us why they should have won and the Warriors are lucky.

So, lets say this game is played in Cleveland.

The Cavs have a healthy Big 3, while Golden State has no Draymond Green and Klay Thompson is dealing with tendonitis.

GS builds a massive early lead and then the game ends up close throughout but GS still leads the game for the overwhelming majority of regulation. Then at the last second, GS puts up a shot that misses by an inch, and then Thompson goes down in OT with a likely series-ending injury and Cleveland wins by 8.

Are you seriously going to sit here and tell me that nobody at all on here would be saying how Cleveland is lucky as hell to have gotten that W? Give me a frickin break.

Thinking back I'm sure LBJ and the Cavs, and LBJ and the Heat know the same feeling. Every team that's made it to the Finals and lost knows that feeling no matter how many games the series went. So, what's your point?

Right, cause I guess in Cavs fans eyes the game ended when regulation did as it did for the team as well.

Nobody has said that or even alluded to it. I've said Golden State is extremely lucky this game even went to OT and that's true. Then they dominated OT. It is what it is.

You're misunderstanding. I'm not asking for mercy. On the contrary - out of the goodness of my heart - I'm looking to shield you Warriors fans from the blow that's coming :D

Wow, damn you're sour still.

Love was fine this year for Cleveland, I meant. He was full-go and playing at full health against Boston, and if you're watching that play and think what Olynyk did was a "basketball move", I'd need an explanation for what part of the game involvs clenching onto someone's arm and torquing it as hard as you can. Love himself even said it was intentional and he was right there, so...

At any rate, I've made my point. When fully healthy, we were better. When we were at 2/3 strength with Kyrie still dealing with a knee injury, we were at the very least just as good and that was on the road. You can't argue with that so I guess this conversation is done.

Problem is, injury prone is injury prone, even if it's a freak injury. Both of Andrew Bynum's first 2 knee injuries were freak injuries and really didn't look that bad when they happened. Turned out, they happened because his knees were falling apart on him.

It sucks, but some guys are just brittle. As good as Love is, as a Lakers fan (a team he keeps being linked to), I don't really want them to get him. I'll be holding my breath all game, every game waiting for the next freak injury.

No, then GS played a hell of a game and they should be praised just for the effort of being in the game.
But Cleveland does it without 2 starters and gimpy one and they were lucky. It's the way it goes when you have Lebron, everybody hates Cleveland now. Not a big deal, more motivation for next year.
I'm not giving up on this Finals and I'm staying optimistic but there is just not enough depth now. It's hard but shit happens.

See here's the thing. Even if the Warriors lost game one, how many games do you really think Kyrie would've lasted? I'm pretty sure you and I had this discussion last week as well. He wasn't healthy and there was no way he would be 100% prior to starting this series. We joked about it, remember? Had his minutes been monitored maybe he could've last a few more games but at the rate he was playing even without the injury last night I suspect he would've been down by game 3. Honestly, instead of claiming the Warriors were lucky to win I think you should be blaming your coach for working Kyrie like a slave in the first game of the series....which quite honestly has sealed their fate.

Come on man. Watch that replay with Olynyk. It doesn't matter if that's Love or Cal Ripken, he did a nasty number on his shoulder. That had nothing to do with durability.

I don't blame you on the second part, though. I'm wondering if he'll be able to command a max deal in Cleveland, especially with how Tristan is playing, but I don't know if I'd be thrilled to committing that kind of money to him, mostly because he's in his late 20s now. He may still have a ton of big time basketball ahead of him, and I'd love to have him at $12-14mil a year, but I don't know about a max deal.

They didn't play their best? It isn't like they were just missing wide-open shots. Cleveland played an amazing game against them, all things considered.

Actually, it's pretty much exactly like that. They were missing open shots in that first quarter.

In all honesty, a seperated shoulder on that kind of play is a little different than a 7 footer with KNEE injuries, which you see a lot. Now Kyrie on the other hand, has some issues, his minutes will need to be carefully distributed at the early half next season, kind of like DRose IMO.

Right because everything that GS does in relation to winning has only to do with luck. Too funny.

I won't argue with you on that - I wish he had played less and there's a good chance he would've at least flared something up. The guy needs the offseason in a really bad way. There's no guarantee a game 1 win would mean a series win for Cleveland - GS is too good to make that sort of assumption, and they can win anywhere.

I'd be a bit careful with the "slave" talk. The dude is making millions of dollars and he's playing a game, and to be fair he looked good through all of regulation. His defense was irreplaceable.

The Cavs missed open shots the whole game. They shot 30% from 3, 10% lower than average in the playoffs. I know Lebron shot 8, but they were still missing wide open shots as well, so it goes both ways.

I think you're confused again. Cavs fans are the ones saying that GS were the lucky ones...not the other way around. Warrior fans pretty much knew they would win, regardless of how they started out because that's how they play. Honestly, that team feels like as long as there's time on the clock they still have a shot
