Going into the draft, the #1 objective should be?

OK, we all can identify the positions where this team needs help, and it's still almost everywhere. However as many have stated before, fixing all of the needs in one off-season ranks somewhere south of zero on the probability scale. Considering the moves that SM & company have already made where should this team focus on as it did for the DL. I have as our top priorities ( in no particular order) Free Safety, Offensive guard (maybe two) Offensive Tackle, OLB, QB ( for some), RB, TE, WR. Since we all agree that upgrading them all can't be done, which ONE do we Absolutely have to upgrade this year?

YEAH, YEAH, YEAH, I know it's possible to do more than one this year, but that is not the question.....is it?

Its less important the position and more important that a couple of these areas are addressed. That's why the 5th pick is so important. We have to get a player that is NFL ready and can contribute at a high level out of the gate. I couldn't care less what position it is if the guy is a stud for many years.

Both of your responses are incontrovertible! However, equally true, is, that best player will no doubt play a position. That is what the questioner seeks in response.

I think we should draft the BPA. That being said at #5 I think that would either be a WR or OLB. However, we probably most need Oline help.

I'm all bpa but if I had to pick a position we need to upgrade id say RT. We can't reach for one so I'm not sure we will address this spot

This is exactly how I feel. No way at 5 but the draft has plenty of good RT prospects throughout the rounds.

Dude..... You have made it abundently clear that you want Schreff.....If they take him at 5...I would not be pissed.....I am happy we FINALLY have a 1st round selection again!!!! But saying all of our receivers suck.....is WRONG!!! Jackson does not suck!!! far from it!!....And weather people want to admitt it or not..Garcon is #1 wr for many teams in this league....Garcon overpaid.....Probably...but he does not suck!!!

scherf is rated as one of the top 9 players in the draft as is fowler , williams beasley . if we get one we should get a good player white and cooper are also on the list
