Guys like Browner are why you are seeing big Corners become such a premium need by so many teams. They make plays like this where they disrupt especially those timing routes that are such a big part of the NFL these days. As great of a play as Butler made I honestly would say Browner made the bigger part of the play as he made the WR have to adjust his route a little bit (ball was thrown a little ahead and I do think part of that was he wasn't where Wilson was planning on him being) and it gave Butler a clear lane to the inside. It also I would say eliminated the receiver from doing the inside slant then jump it back outside as he would have just ran right into Browner. Anyway like I said Browner is truly the unsung hero of this play.

Just like every Patriots win since they lobbied for flat footballs, this thread title should come with an

Browner was suspended and couldn't play in the SB last year. He hardly had a big role in what Seattle did in the post season.

Byron Maxwell > Brandon Browner by a long shot.

Hey Podunk.......instead of crying like Sherman, man up and admit you got beat by a better team on the field last Sunday. You guys shit on everyone else when you win and when you lose, you shit all over yourselves.

There are some that felt that Belichick had anticipated a pass play on 2nd down and did have the right defensive setup ready. I don't know about that but the players were clearly well trained and prepared for these type of plays. Great play by Browner

Since that flag was picked up in that Dallas/Detroit game till now. I have come full circle with the Seattle fans on this board. I clearly see that there is a good group of honorable Seattle posters.

And then there are guys like Poo-punk. Who drags the good Seattle crew down with every word he types.

Not so sure I can go all the way here. Of course it took the whole team to make the play and Browner was A key to it all but it seems to take something away from one of the best plays ever made in a Superbowl.

You can criticize the play choice and execution by Seattle but the Patriot's defense on that play was top-notch. I haven't heard anyone say PI on that play because that's how well Butler timed it.

BTW Butler had a series of great plays that quarter. I hope he's not a one-game fluke.

I was really on the fence with the Browner signing thinking with all of his penalties he would cause the Patriots to lose some games and possibly get knocked out of the post season but I was pleasantly surprised.

You must give the entire defense credit on that last play. Though Browner knowing Kearse I am sure helped a lot.

Podunk is a little bitch. I put a gif of Browner last year cheating with PED's and then he says but he's on the Pats. WTF does that have to do with last year, and when he was nabbed playing for Hawks. I wish Belichick put Browner on that big receiver that burned Arrington for over 100 yards, on 4 passes earler.

Not to shit all over myself, but an online poll with over 600K votes on ESPN stated by a 60% margin that Seattle lost the game as opposed to NE winning it. That is a pretty large vote and feel free to start one here if you feel you need to validate your position.

I'm not here to debate your victory as NE won it fair and square, but you sound like you are full of a bit of it.

Look at all the whining. Your tears sustain me.

"Poo-punk" How long did you rack your brain for that one R.J.?

This thread is like praising Adam Morrison for all his NBA Championship rings.

Oh lawd, I remember that guy now. The pretentiousness was impressive from him.

Sure was Moose a Mr. know it all, that knew Jack. Said RG3 was the next elite QB, so far a little off there. Ashamed he was one of mine, and he said he would rather have a min wage job, then make millions and be subject to Da Man, doing random tests :L

I suppose the next question is how does the league adjust on offense to these big, long, and physical corners? One would be tempted to follow the NE model in the passing game, but it's a pretty low level of reliability knowing how hobbled the Seattle secondary really was in the SB.

JDM and Briz Almighty were like Beavis and Butthead for the Pats fans on here last year. I might have had to peace out on the NFL board for a while if they were still here.
