So the focus shifts back to Kubiak.


I think it's understandable why a coach would want the Falcons job. The offense is, essentially, ready made outside of fixing their o-line issues.

Looks like Sporano got the shaft in Oakland and hired Del Rio. I hope Elway goes after him. I know some on here are just RAider haters but Sporano is highly respected thruout NFL circles. I for one would love him

Gotta agree here. Despite being an offensive guy, only had one offense in the top 20 in scoring during his time with the Dolphins. Spent 1 year sucking as the OC for the Jets before sucking with the Raiders.

Sorry guys my mistake. For some reason I thought he was the DC and Raiders certainly improved there. Getting to old and senile anymore. Listened ystrdy on nfl network ( apparently not very well ) and they talked about how respected he was,etc. I thought they felt that way because of his job as a DC at Oakland. Lets just go with................nevermind

Just going to throw out another name in a guy named Doug Marrone. Most of his coaching career was done on the OL and well that was probably our biggest weakness all season long. Throw in he helped take a Bills team with Kyle Orton playing quarterback pretty darn far this season. He also helped coach in New Orleans as the OC when they had some of their best offenses with Drew Brees at the helm. Now he did quit though on the Bills which doesn't sit well with me but I am a bit surprised he does not have a job yet.

That doesn't really bother me. It's like a recruit that transfers schools when his coach gets fired or leaves for a new school.

Gase not getting hired by the 49ers has me worried that we're strongly considering him. He's very overrated and I'd prefer someone who's been a HC before of a defensive mind.

Vance Joseph is reported to be interviewing with the Broncos today. Could be a "Rooney Rule" candidate in case Austin doesn't make it to Denver.

It is being reported that the interview with Austin has been canceled. Now it could be just a scheduling issue but good chance it is because he is taking the job in Atlanta. Dang it! He was my top choice.

If he takes the Atlanta position, that makes Quinn more available.....

From what I have read Kubiak does actually want the Bronco job and is highly considering taking an interview. He talked with John Harbaugh on Wednesday I think and Harbaugh told him he wouldn't stand in the way of him taking the job.

I also agree this leaves Quinn available as well if we want to wait that long depending if they win this weekend or not. Not sure what I think about Quinn.

Well, if we do bring back Kubiak, I hope it works out the same way it did the LAST time we brought back a former Bronco OC to be our Head Coach
