I never miss it. I read about Diem and Knight passing away after filming but its still weird watching them. It was especially unsettling seeing Diem talk about using the money to pay for a surrogate to have kids since she can't due to ovarian cancer knowing that it comes back and kills her just weeks later after she said that.

Yeah that was super uncomfortable, and pretty sad. I thought I had read that they actually stopped filming bc Diem got sick again and much of the cast went to support her. If she actually does mid season, I'm going to be fairly shocked.

I'm pretty positive Knight passed after filming had wrapped. Definitely after he had left the show.

After the episode was over when they showed the "This season on" trailer, it looked like the final scene was Diem collapsing and CT asking for a doctor. That's sorta nuts they would show it but at the same time, they have to acknowledge it in some way. She only lived like 2 months after she discovered the cancer returned while filming the show.

I'm a sucker for these shows too. For some reason I love watching all those fuckers argue. Possibly why I like the 'Hoop too.

I still say, nothing was like the original Real Worlds. After about season 5 or 6 it got dumb. The first 3 seasons imo were the best.

Looks like next week is the episode Diem is taken off the show. Ugh. That's gonna be rough to watch

I don't really outright hate any of them but if I had to pick one, I'd probably say Cara Maria. She seems kind of whiny and she always looks dirty. I'm not a fan Jonna either. Don't know why but there's just something about her I don't like.

I don't mind Bananas at all but I wish he'd take a break every now and then. You get tired of him after awhile. It seems like he's done every one for like 6 years straight.

As for Bananas, the point u touched on is one of the reasons I don't like him. I don't for a second believe he and Nani hooked up. They just needed someone to pair him with so he could be in the show again. He and CT seem to be lifers. Which I guess isn't a bad gig.

You can watch on MTV.com the next day. I've done that before if there was a game or something on during its normal timeslot

Just finished the most recent episode(had it DVR'd). Pretty sad seeing her leave, knowing she doesn't live much longer.

That being said, I love the twist of the Ex-iled island.

Definitely sad to see Diem get hauled out like that. A chick I'm friends with texted me and told me she was crying....during the Challenge..crazy. I wonder if the rest of the cast knew how bad it would end up being. They had to know something was up with her history. It will be interesting to see how production ends up telling the cast later in the season.

Just challenges. Wikipedia has a earnings list. He's actually got a really sweet gig when you think about. He's earned all that in winnings, he gets an appearance fee for doing the show (probably like 5000 bucks), and cast members like him do bar tours when they're back home that pay a couple hundred bucks a pop. Plus, everyone he does is like an awesome vacation destination. He's traveling the world on MTV's dime.

I have not watched RW in years, and didn't realize they were still doing Challenges. However, I remember Diem and CT, and as much of an ass as CT is, I always liked him and Diem.

I have no idea who Knight was, so no offense, but I couldn't care less about him.

Seeing this thread made me go to VOD and watch all three eps of this season. Knowing what ultimately happened made the third ep actually super hard to watch. I basically hate RTV (Ridiculousness TV) , and was uncomfortable that they were showing this. But they actually did a rather decent job.

Did she die while the show was still filiming?
