There were plenty of other games to choose from. There were more appealing games than Lions-Bears that you could have watched, but you chose to watch the lousy Bears. That tells me that you're still obsessed with Cutler after all these years.
Pat Bowlen is a good man, but he admitted that his memory was starting to fail around the time that Cutler debacle happened. Cutler said he called Bowlen, and Bowlen admitted that he might have forgotten. I'm not excusing Cutler as he acted like a prick during that mess. But there were a lot of people that deserved blame for that mess, with McDaniels being at the top of the list. Cutler was not mature back then, but he has matured greatly in the last couple years since having children. Look at the class that he handled his benching with. The Cutler of a few years ago would not have handled a benching with class. There's a such thing as a person maturing and becoming a better person. Cutler has made great efforts to mature, so he should be forgiven for the way he acted in the past. God believes in forgiving people. Try to let go of the hate you have for Cutler. God bless...
Cutler has shown he is very much at the top of the list of problems when he left Denver. Bowlen was showing signs of dementia yes but I would think even the biggest A-hole in the universe would show a bit more class knowing that that is happening than to then begin to demand a trade and try to badmouth somebody going through such a thing. Cutler's issue was the fact that the Broncos even took a call about a trade for a quarterback. I'm sorry but that is again just classless to think you are God's gift to man and the very thought of anybody not thinking that causing to happen what happened.
Now while I do think Cutler has matured going from that of a 3 year old in maturity level to maybe now that of a teenager is still putting him behind the curve. Again his teammates and coaches have both called him out for what he is doing on the field. He is not a guy they can rally behind to succeed and if anything his team has completely quit on him. All of a sudden in comes Claussen of all people and next thing you know the team looks much better. Obviously they still lost but the defense decided to step it up a bit even though there is nothing on the line but pride. Heck moments after Cutler was benched trade rumors started circulating. From what Adam Schefter has said the Bears might be willing to give up Cutler and a decent draft pick just to receive back a late round pick. They are willing to do just about anything possible from the sound of it to get this guy out of Chicago.
