And hey once they change the goal in the NFL to going 4-0 against playoff contenders I'll be sure to congratulate us but until then and the prize is still the SB regular season win-loss records mean shit.

And if we continue this Offensive scheme and get bounced from the playoffs becasuse we switched to a style that screwed our season I can always tell myself "hey at least we went 4-0 against playoff contenders".

I'm not sure you'll be happy either way. Your posts are a little bitch-fest win or lose, so what difference does it make?

I know many Broncos fans wont blame Manning for anything but his play of late in which I mean interceptions has to stop. I mean really 4 interceptions. It would have been nice to clinch a #2 seed last night and have it come down to the Raiders game but Denver better not take them lightly and need to get back on track for the playoffs. I'll say it again 4rd and 1 in bad weather run the damn ball. Go Broncos!!!

Duffman, you're a clown. You want a 70/30 pass/run split? Did you watch the Rams game? You know the one the Broncos got blown out in by a team that doesn't even have a winning record? The game the offense put up a whooping 7 points? You want to see a repeat of that performance.

The Broncos lost this game tonight because Manning had a bad game the Bengals dominated both sides of the line of scrimmage. Tough to win when those things happen. I think the loss of Trevathan and Marshall really hurt the defense a lot more than I thought it would. Oh, and Rahim Moore was absolutely AWFUL tonight. I think that's the worst game I've ever seen him play. Just terrible.

I agree 100% they were just bitch slapped on both sides of the ball up front and Manning looked awful. Hopefully Marshall will be ready to go playoff time. Hopefully T.J. Ward is alright as well or else there is a huge problem at the safety position. Duffman we don't need to see a repeat of the Rams game playoff time.

Maybe throw some more of those quick outs that he doesn`t have the arm strength for anymore? How bout more pk 6`s. The only way Denver will advance at all is if they run the ball effectively and alot. If anybody thinks Manning can wing the ball all game long and win a game,is not playing with a full deck. You saw his arm strength last nite right? It is what it is. They can go down fighting with the run heavy approach or get blown out with Manning heaving the ball all day. Pick your poison buddy

Completely agree. This team needs to get healthy. That's why the bye is so important.

I agree every CB is jumping on every short route to the outside. The ball takes forever to get there. The weather isn't going to get any better as well so Denver better run the ball if this team wants to hoist the Lombardi Trophy. Manning has looked just terrible in my opinion the 2nd half of the season. Way to many interceptions. Can't win games that way.

Interceptions, sacks? What else? How did throwing every down work versus Seattle in the Super Bowl? Must have balance to win a Super Bowl. The Patriots and Broncos the years had record passing stats and what did they win for that? Nothing. If the Rams game and Super Bowl didn't show you what is wrong with this team then you really have no clue. Tell me if Denver plays at New England and the weather is bad and cold in which Im sure it will be Denver needs to pass every down right? Do you really think that will work?

Your view is so incredibly one sided it's like you're wearing blinders. You claim that we scored all of our points when we went pass heavy, while ignoring that it also led to 4 interceptions. You claim the only way we can win a Super Bowl is by passing the ball all over the place, yet you ignore that Seattle tore us apart in the Super and the Rams demolished us earlier this year.

With out PA pass the Broncos can't get those chunk yard plays that they need. The short passes to the outside with manning in crappy weather are getting jumped on by CB's way to easily. He can't make those throws anymore like he used to. Plus Denver needs Hillman back soon because he is there best pass catching RB with speed to take it to the house. The Broncos Duffman can't throw it every down. Manning will get sacked, there will be holding penalties and many more interceptions. Go in to New England throwing every down then Denver will get destroyed. It has been proven in the Super Bowl and Rams game as well. What more proof do you need? Plus running the ball more keeps the defense off the field in which I would love to see. This isn't Tecmo Bowl. Denver needs balance to beat the top teams in the NFL. This isn't Manning of 5 years ago. Please understand that.

All you have to do is just watch Manning and see he`s lost alot of velocity on his throws. He is no where as strong as he was last yr. Some people just don`t see things that more football savy people do. Hey, I`am no expert by a long shot and I can see what`s in front of me. He`s struggling to make the throws he did last yr and that is so obvious. I`am going to go out on limb here and say regardless how Denver finishes up this yr, Manning calls it quits. Remember he said.. " If my performance is hurting the team,etc, I will know it`s time". Apparently Duffman doesn`t see the decline from last yr because he wouldn`t be such a blind homer. No offence Duffy, but you must be kinda new to the game.
