I take Romo against the Bears.

The only other decision is FLEX where it looks to be between Gio, DJAX and Allen. I will weigh in on that later, but first, you need to drop Sturgis. Absolutely no reason to roster 2 kickers at this point in the season.

I would definitely start Rivers over Romo, and semi surprised that the consensus is on Romo...

What I like about rivers, the Patriots Run defense has been one of the best in football recently... Their passing defense has been okay... To beat them the Chargers will need to throw the ball...

What scares me about Romo- the bears defense is just so bad and Murray has been the most important offensive weapon on the cowboys... I can see Murray having 30+ carries again on Thursday, and I would be surprised if murray is not the weapon used in the redzone more frequently...

and my love of rivers this week, is the reason I am so high on Keenan Allen, as he remains the biggest targeted player on that team...

I would have benched Matthews since I am not high on him this week, but I am so uncertain about what Benard will give that I would rather use Matthews who will certainly have 15+ touches...

Here is why I like Romo:

With the exception of week 2 vs. the Titans, Romo's bad games have come against the 49ers, the Redskins and the Eagles.

What do those teams have in common? They are all much better against the run than they are the pass. Washington and Philly, in fact rank in huge bottom 3 against the pass, yet Romo still struggled against them. The reason is because they were both able to slow down Murray. The Cowboys entire attack is based off being able to run the ball effectively, so when that gets taken away Romo struggles too.

Expect Murray to eat well tonight against a terrible Bears D and also expect Romo to go for 250 and 2-3 TDs as Murray runs between the 20s and Romo hits a couple play-action scores.

The Pats on the other hand, will take away what the Chargers do best. I am not exactly sure what that is, but it will likely either be Mathews or Allen. I strongly advise against starting 3 Chargers, and if you want to know why, just ask Treff. His MBBRL season was forever altered the day that Rivers, Gates and Novak combined for -1 points. I think Rivers is a lot riskier than Romo this week because of the matchup.

DJax is a GTD and I just read he probably won't play..............

Yeah, and even if he does, Gio is a safer play this week. DJax just looks too risky. I think Reed is a fine play, but I would avoid starting 2 Skins.
