10 team standard ESPN scoring standard lineup 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1 Flex 1D/ST 1 K

3 keepers max (can keep less)

2 definites: David Johnson, Alvin Kamara

Maybes:

WR: Micheal Thomas, Tyreek Hill
TE: Gronk
QB: Rivers, Wentz

Leaning Thomas, but Gronk is hard to pass up as well

Thoughts?

Gronk with his injuries is risky. I would stay with Michael Thomas as the third keeper. I actually like Tyreek ahead of Gronk.

Thomas or Gronk is a great choice for #3... I like Thomas more, but I would probably pick Gronk...

If this was 12 owners or more, I would DEFINITELY pick Thomas... But in a 10 team league, I like having an elite TE and QB... as I can make it up easier at WR, especially in STANDARD leagues, where you only HAVE to start 2 WR...

But my opinion could easily change depending on keeper rules...

Gimme Gronk. 10 team league makes missing out on Thomas/Hill not that dangerous.

Michael Thomas for me. Ten team league may lessen the loss of an elite WR, also lessons the loss of an elite TE. So that's basically a wash, and in the frequent injury concerns that Fuzz mentioned, plus the uncertainty surrounding Gronk and whether he wants out of NE, or they want him out, his contract and just how much longer he'll play, I wouldn't take that kind if risk when the other option is a guy like Thomas. Might take Gronk over Hill, but not Thomas

Thomas... especially if you can keep them for as long as you want.

:agree:
As much as I hate the guy, in a 10-team league, no one is drafting 2 TE (unless it's mandatory). If anything goes wrong you can stream someone. Upside is much stronger with Gronk.

If you decide on Thomas, it's not a bad option either.
