Rams @ Cards (not official game thread)

Gonna go out on a limb here and hope that the energy carries over to this week. The Cardinals are due for a flop and this week could be it.

Yeah, Palmer definitely is less likely to avoid the rush than Krapernick, but he's tougher to confuse. Hope that defense keeps it up this weekend.

All about the turnovers. Arizona forces INTs like nobody else and is +10 on turnover margin this year. Rams are -2 and Davis/oline has looked a bit shaky as of late.

This is a really tough one to call. On one hand the Rams Defense is playing better or at least putting everything together. On the other hand defenses have started to figure out AD’s/Shittyhammers game. Not to mention I think AZ has caught a ton of breaks so far this year. Playing teams that aren’t healthy or playing bad teams like the Redskins, Raiders, Giants and have played a beat up Cowboys and Philly. I think they are definitely due for a loss.

If Schiityface can come up with a good game plan that doesn’t play into the hands of AZ’s defense then we have a chance. We also have to learn how to block up the middle. Wells and Joseph both suck, let’s face it. Why either Jones or Barnes isn’t in @ guard or center is mind boggling. I could see if Wells was having a good year but him and Joseph are rated two of the worst tandems in the NFL currently PFF.

Our Defense will need to have a game like last weeks to stand a chance. If they don’t it will be a long long day.

IF we can just stay in this one, I am happy. This is the best team in the NFC right now and they have ROLLED us lately in AZ.

If our defense can keep up the solid effort they displayed vs the 49ers we have a decent chance.

Don't expect to run the ball against this squad. If we are to win it will be through the air.

That said, Austin Davis will be facing the No. 32 defense defending the pass.

They are giving up nearly 300 ypg in the air.

Most important, and like Clayton has said, it's those turnovers they thrive upon.

We play smart, hang on to the rock and we can shock the world!

This game scares me. Rams defense is really starting to come together. If they get pressure on Palmer anything can happen. I'm expecting a tough, smash mouth kind of game.

Seems to be the Rams personality.....win a game against somebody we weren't supposed to beat, and then lay down the next week and lose. Of course nobody expects us to beat the Cardinals anyway, so that's why I'm saying.....

You're kidding right? The Cards have lost a bunch of pro bowlers for the season on defense and had to play backup QB for 3 games. Don't use injury excuses for the Cards success, that's just lame. The Cards are winning because they are just a well coached team playing good football together. End of story

I remember when the cards were 5-0 and then lost the next 9 out of 10. I dunno I'm not convinced the best team in the league, division or NFC west. We'll see as the season goes on.

But I never said they weren't playing good football just saying I'm not totally convinced.

Ps them beating the Rams won't convince me either. We aren't a good team.

I was listening to Pat Kirwan on 'Moving the Chains' this week.

Pat was saying the measure of a good team should be viewed by their record vs teams with winning records. So I thought that type of information was interesting, considering the conversation. From this, I can see where Jaco opinions are supported by facts.
