You are kidding right?? One of the meanings of NFL is Nepotism For Life. How many guys get a shot on rosters because of "BloodLines", like they are horses breed for the sport or something. How many sons of past coaches are some how working in the league now. Look around the NFL and see how many sons of former coaches or players have be rolled int the league because of their fathers name.
That's because they grew up living and breathing football coaching so naturally they will have an advantage over normal guys who go into coaching. I'm not denying there is a line of nepotism in that a famous name will get a shot. But let's not pretend they get hired and retained based only on their last name.
Kyle got blasted for only being here based on his last name. What is forgotten is he directed a great offense led by an ok but nothing special QB in Matt Schaub. Don't let what happened here fool you, EVERYONE fails in this black hole. I see he goes to Cleveland and somehow got production out of absolutely nothing on offense there. That was my point, Kyle is not in the league based only on his last name. He has earned his spot.
as did gruden and the ryans. gruden had a very good offense in cincy and the ryans usually have good defenses. look at the harbaughs success. its not like a last name is a bad thing or the only reason nfl teams pick them up.Wait are you saying players are kept on NFL rosters while better players are cut because the first guy has a famous last name? Please provide a list of examples.

Agreed he earned his way to where he is, but don't think for a minute he didn't get his first NFL gig because of his last name.
