Robert Griffin III (ankle) was limited in Wednesday and Thursday's practices.
RGIII isn't returning for Sunday's game against the Titans, but Week 8 is beginning to look like a real possibility. The Redskins' bye isn't until Week 10, and there's no reason for foot dragging after Kirk Cousins predictably went in the tank. If Griffin was dropped in your 12-14 team league, now could be a good time to take a flier if you're looking to mix things up at quarterback.

He needs at least 2 weeks of practice once medically cleared. After the bye week is perfect. We all saw last year how he played when he was not 100% and was thrown in without proper practice. Why make the same mistakes again. Oh, that's right. Its the Redskins. We consistently make the same mistakes time and again.

My question is....will the risk be worth the rewards in bringing him back to operate behind a woeful offensive line? Even a few victories doesn't equate to taking this risk. I get it that he needs the work in relation to being comfortable in JG's offensive scheme, but the one certainty to his playing again this season is that he's going to be running for his life and his health. Can this team truly afford to risk his long term mental and physical health for meaningless short term gains?

How long do you keep him on the shelf? If our line is no better next year, do we keep him on the shelf all year also?

He needs to learn to play QB in the NFL. He will be going back in.

The REDSKINS season may be over by the time he comes back. Cousins needs to step it up this week.

If this team does not address the obvious deficiencies on their offensive line, then don't risk your franchise guy......fire the GM. I don't care how long it takes, building winning programs usually takes so e time. What good does it do to fix one problem and destroy a related one. I'll be starting another thread related to this point. Titled "KC or RGIII must go now."

Sty,
They haven't addressed the o line in 10 years. Why would we expect them to address it next year?

They've spent 3 third round picks on O as well as a top 5 pick. You should find at least one good OL in the 3rd with 3 cracks. They just picked the wrong guys to some extent but it's too early to judge Moses. .
