I could use an upgrade to my RB situation I think. I have Lynch, P. Thomas, Sankey, J. Hill, Taliaferro, and hopefully Ryan Mathews tomorrow.

Someone trying to get Luck from me earlier this week got me wondering if dangling him for a top tier RB might not be a bad idea as I also have Newton I could roll with. One guy is rolling out Cutler each week and has Arian Foster. I'm thinking of offering Luck for Foster straight up. Thoughts?

I don't trust Foster enough to give up a elite QB for him. You would be taking a huge blow going to Cam as well. I would wait out Mathews he should be adequate as a RB2 for you.

I was thinking this. I hope I get him. Williams and Oliver got grabbed ahead of me on waivers today.

:agree:

Foster is money when he's healthy, but the dude is a walking hamstring injury just waiting to happen. I'd want a Forte or Lynch or Murray, even if I had to add a little. But like Shady mentioned, if you get Mathews and can hold out one more week, you'll be fine

These guys all know me and my mancrush on Arian.................the only way I'd do that deal is if he sent Cutler back to me. In other words no to the original trade and yes to Luck for Cutler/Foster (if he'd do it). Here's something else to look at with Foster: He playes tonight, has 10 days rest before his next game, then plays 3 and has his bye..............looks like missing week 3 and most of 4 will be a good thing just as long as he gets out of week 6 in good shape...................but I still say you can get more for Luck right this second.

Don't ever trade for Arian Foster. I would rather rely on Pierre Thomas than Arian Foster's hamstrings.

Interesting thread for me. I have Lacy and Thomas for RBs and was considering making a Luck for Foster offer.

Who are his QB's? I would do this deal but only if he has a decent QB to offer along with Foster. In my league Luck is the #1 QB.

If he has a caliber like: Cutler, R. Wilson, Brees, etc... If not - I would pass.

Only reason I would do this deal is this - when Matthews comes back, you could play: Lynch, Matthews, and Foster (assuming you play a flex). That is a killer lineup.

If he doesn't have a decent qb to offer as well, then pass. But I would take a lineup of:

Cutler (hypo)
Lynch
Matthews
Foster

over

Luck
Lynch
Matthews

Especially considering you could play Foster the next couple weeks with Matthews still out.

Shit, I'd roll with Russel and Romo if the upgrade was Foster for Frenchie. When Ingram comes back who the hell knows what will happen in the Big Sleazy.

I kind of agree here. Don't want to lose Luck, but it's not "that" big of a risk here. If you can play match ups the rest of the year with Wilson and Romo, you are ahead of the curve. Now add in Foster for free. Yes, you will have to worry about injuries and things. But he will likely single-handedly win you 2-3 games before the season is over.

Romeo - your dudes qb's?

Since the Seahawks already had their bye week, I was thinking of rolling the dice and just keeping one QB. Thus straight up Luck for Foster and keeping Frenchie for a flex and insurance in case Foster pulls a hammy again.

Right on..............I wasn't saying get rid of Frenchie as he'll be usefull in a bind I was just saying Foster will start for ya. You shouldn't be giving more that Luck IMO and you shuld at least try for more than Foster if you can.

Sent the offer. Interesting part is that we go head to head this week, so I want the deal to happen before tonight's game.

Alright guys, help me design a trade here, if there is one. He's worried about not having a RB2 if he gives up Foster. He's more inclined to deal Thomas, maybe Johnson.

My team:
QB: Luck, Newton
RB: Lynch, P. Thomas, Sankey, J. Hill, Mathews, Taliaferro
WR: J. Jones, Wayne, Cruz, Benjamin
TE: Donnell

His team:
QB: Cutler
RB: Foster, Tate, Blount, Blue, Ridley
WR: Hopkins, C. Johnson, Colston, Shorts,
TE: J. Thomas, O. Daniels

If you can handle waiting a few weeks for a healthy CJ, jump all over that.
