I just finished watching the Jags Philly game and I will simply say this. No they dont have a JJ Watt on the roster. But Foles took 5 sacks and twice that in hits yesterday. This isnt the cake game it would appear

No game is a gimme but it is at home and I like the skins chances to even up at 1-1.

Dave... if I didnt see our offense as basically the same as last year with a new pair of shoes, I might still consider this a winnable game. But honestly right now I think we lose this one and stare 0-4 to 0-8 possibilities right in the face.

I wish I had any sort of argument against that, but I don't. And in fact we could win this one, and then still end up looking at 1-7 if we don't make some dramatic improvements in a lot of areas.

The good news is, its not like we are simply devoid of any talent. The bad news is, so far our coaching hasn't done diddly pooh to get much out of that talent.

Kev.. .you know that Im usually a the team will prevail kind of guy as well. But seriously, I havent felt we were as over rated, and screwed as I do right now since we hired Spurrior.

Let's give Gruden some time. I haven't seen anyone think were overrated as most think the skins will suck. Talk to me after week 6 and I could change my tune but like I said earlier I thought the skins were the better team on Sunday and I'm confident they'll take care of the jags at home on Sunday.

If I had a dollar for every time in the last 6, 8 or 12 years that we said "we played better, but mistakes cost us the game"... or "we outgained them and had more time of possession, they just got a few plays" or some other variant of what you said, I'd be rich.

Point is, I've seen this movie before and while its correctable, it never gets corrected.

And I've not been a doom and gloom guy myself either, but I saw nothing about Gruden's first game that impressed me. I suppose Joe Gibbs wasn't too impressive in his first game either, so I will have no choice but to give Jay some time.

week one isnt the week to throw out absolutes

if our defense is as good as some are proclaiming we should handle the jags offense . and our offense and our weapons and running game should step up . i see 3 rushing tds and a pair of Fgs
