I will likely be playing 3 WR's all year with: Green, Garcon, Harvin, and even Shorts. Forte to carry the 1 spot. But I dunno wtf to do with my #2 RB. Help Please!

Full PPR league:

1) Matthews @ Arizona
2) Richardson @ Denver
3) Sproles vs Jax
4) Dwyer (just picked up) vs Chargers

Right now, I am leaning Sproles. Thought is it may get ugly early. Sproles may do some decent spelling. And even if he doesn't - he is bound to catch 5-6 passes at least I would think. Thoughts?

I'd go Matthews. In fact I'd go Mathews most weeks. TRich has to prove something before he gets back in my lineups, and it really sounds like Sproles is going to be an almost strict gimmick-type of player, not a true change of pace type.

I picked Matthews to be my #2. I'm not worried about Woodhead or Brown. Matthews had a bounce back year last year - he gets the rock, imo - and our O-line is better. However, would you be worried about Arizona's #1 run defense, and playing @ Arizona?

I feel like the colts are going to run Richardson to either an injury or a bounce back season... the colts need him and the colts offense is good enough that he will be decent... Even if he is not he is likely to catch some balls, so he should be decent in the passing game... Not saying that the Colts will ever get first round value back from him, but he really should be a a decent RB2 this season...

So:

I'm thinking Sproles; Tref is thinking Matthews; and Milk is thinking Richardson.

And we all have good reasons to back the opinion up. Now I see why I thought it was a tough call in the first place.

If it helps, i'd rank them Mathews, Sproles (only because of PPR), then TRich..
He's just been pathetic, and while he's a lock to touch the ball more often than Sproles, he's no lock to outscore him by any means.

About that #1 ranked AZ run defense....

You'll see AZ at the bottom right there. And if that graph tells us anything, it's that repeats are Very Unlikely. (That strong run D in 2012 that jumped up to mediocre in 2013 was the Bengals - from allowing about 11 FF pts per game to allowing about 19.)

I'm more worried about Brown than about the Cards, but I'd probably still start Mathews.

Sproles makes sense in a PPR league, but I still want to see how the Eagles use him before starting him.

This one is between Mathews and Dwyer for me. Mathews is the safe play in a game that will likely be pretty high scoring (lots of injuries/suspensions on that Cardinal defense). Dwyer is the wild card if you feel like gambling.

I can't start TRich until I actually see him play well in a game. I hope for his sake that he does well, but I am not holding my breath.

That's way too many lines and colors. I can't make heads or tails of that.

Matthews for sure. Give Richardson a week to show you he's good before you start him. Ryan Matthews will get you points. He's the lead back and goal line back of the bunch in sd.
