Sorry guys. Been covering high school wrestling and just got back a while ago. To answer the questions about rep, here is my best guess below.

The number following the poster's name is the number of times the poster has been repped, the second number is the amount of rep points that poster has that shows up in your control panel, and the third number is the rep power you have that shows up when you post. I know you get one rep point for every 1,000 posts, which is why some of the numbers differ from others. Beyond that, I don't know.

Yay to me, I figured out multi-quote...It takes more time than quoting a quote trying to do nested quotes, but at least you don't get the headache of endless nested quote crap either...nice I like this....

Nice Chevy aqwk... When I was young, I ran Super Pro Et, because my car could not meet gas class. Too much HP and weight to get into Gas class.

Ran 427 chevy with 700 hp in a Chevelle. Ran 9.50s to 10.10s. Never could get a full run out of it. Bought the engine off of guy who had it on a rail. Took magnito and blower off to get to 700 hp. He ran 5.90s with rail.

Ran a single carb, 1150 dbbl pumper that you could put beer cans inside each port hole. Monter carb.

See ya... now I am going to sleep...

Thanks BRS. I know what you mean about those big dominator carbs. Had one on my camaro before I switched to the blower and fuel injection last summer. Hope to getthe car into the high 7s, but still learning how to tune with the laptop and trying to get the street tires to hook is a challenge all by itself. Here's a pic of my new engine setup.

back when we had the car... we tried 4 different manual transmissions and they would not stay together. Had machine shops trick them out and even went to a Chrysler Trans (heavy duty). Never tried an automatic. The torque was too much for the car, even though we had it tied down with 4 pt roll cage. It twisted and linkage would not line up, so I would fight each shift and thus we were never able to get into 8.0's.

We took blower and Mag off to reduce HP... And it did, but still was dyno at 700 HP.

That was an expensive hobby! I miss it in some ways, but not the $$$ spent.
