IF Mallet went for a 6th or 7th, no way are we getting a 2nd for Cousins. Just as well. Chances of RG3 playing 16 games is very slim.

Put it this way jy19 the Texans or the Rams for that matter will win more games with Cousins than the QB's they have now. Cousins is worth a first round pick in this FA QB market.

This trade made sense for Houston. Bill O'Brien was in NE before going to Penn State so he has one year of experience with Mallett not to mention a relationship with Belichek.

I'm glad to see Mallet finally leave New England. He was held hostage there. Now, he will at least get a chance to compete for the starting job. I'm sure that will not be hard, considering who their starting QB is. Ironically, Kirk Cousins finds himself in a similar situation. It's gonna get to a point, where he's going to either have to be traded or compete for the starting job. He'll be a FA, after the 2014 season. I'd rather the Skins get something for him, rather than nothing at all. That's just my honest opinion.

Possibly. But how many more? 1? 3? That's why they wouldn't part with any high picks. would giving up a 2nd to go from a 3 win team to a 6 win team be worth it? Just means they pick lower in next year's draft......without one of their high draft picks.
