Sherms been voted into the top 10 players in the league and the best defensive player. I'd say he's getting plenty of respect.

Still ,here you are commenting about the 9ers. I find it a bit funny how it always come down to that...'Hawk vs 9ers...or whiners as you 'Hawk fans like to call us. Who's whining now? Your team just won a SB. Enjoy it while it lasts. The current NFL tells me there will be no other dynasty team.

What? Am I lost or is this thread titled NE Secondary is better then Seahawks. I commented on the niners because a niners fan made some comment about seahawks being dbags I believe the term was.

1. In my OP, I made no disrespectful comment towards the Seahawks. I actually didn't make any comment in my OP. I just copied and pasted an article.

2. In my thread title, I didn't say Patriot's secondary > Seahawk's secondary.. I said Patriot's secondary > Seahawk's secondary?. That question mark kind of meant I didn't quite agree but I think it is an interesting topic. I personally think the Seahawks still have the best secondary, but the Patriots do have a good argument.

3. You all know as much as I do that UK's RW most overrated QB thread was nothing more than a troll thread. In fact, he was the only one who posted on it that thought he was overrated, which he pretty much put RW in the same area ESPN and NFL.com puts him. I put RW 6th-10th and I was told my hatred toward RW was evident in it. I have a lot of respect for RW, but I just don't see him being a top 5 QB, but I do think he's close.

4. You guys talk about all you heard about the SB going in was how Manning was going to throw all over them. Well, I think they have received the biggest compliment ever since. It isn't Peyton Manning did so terrible in the Super Bowl. By most of the media (I did say most, not all), Seattle's defense totally shut the Broncos offense down. Most of Manning's career, he has been known as the guy who choked in the playoffs. He always seemed to have a bad game in the playoffs. All the credit was to how Manning did. This SB, it was all about how the Seahawks did.

It's stated again. All we keep hearing from the media is

"They have a tough schedule ahead. There going nowhere"
"They Lost some key Players(that were rotation and already replaced). There going nowhere"
"They have a overrated QB. There going nowhere".

I'm not talking about respect form fans. I'm talking about the media. These are people from NFL Network, ESPN etc. Not Joe average

I went to Seahawk's page on ESPN and looked through the articles. I saw an article on RW's best days still to come. LB corp the most underrated in the NFL. The article I have on the OP, which does have a segment on how they were the best secondary in the NFL this past season and will be Top 2 this next season. How they will have the best D this next season. Some highlight videos. How much of a stud Lynch is.

Not seeing any that talk about how RW is overrated or how they are going nowhere. Show them to me.
