Technically, no. But he has a handshake deal in place that will likely pay him close to what he opted out of. Figuring in his hit on the cap, Miami is looking at $10-15 mil at most to fill 7 roster spots.

theres a big IF with derrick rose...I see him as Brandon roy till he proves different. and as I stated earlier today..there aren't any other PG's on roster as of now that im aware of. still makes playoffs in weak east...I don't see them as best in east maybe 4 or 5

Big question mark with Pau's health. It's been a struggle the last few years and he's not getting any younger.

I do think he'll play with some renewed passion. He hasn't exactly been giving his all to the team in recent years. Remember Jackson hitting him in the chest during the Dallas series? There's been a lot of lame efforts since.

Chicago will be tough with a healthy and engaged Gasol.
