Does anyone else remember the "Mavaliers"??? You know, when the city of Cleveland held a parade for the Mavericks when they beat Miami in the Finals???

Now you have Cleveland fans stalking his house, you have radio guys cursing his name, and he hasn't said ANYTHING or even hinted he was coming back.

THIS is why he should never go back to Cleveland. Those people are crazy......and do not deserve him. Neither does their owner. They're like a psycho ex girlfriend that always hates on every chick she sees you with. Never happy herself, and can't STAND to see you happy either.

If LeBron were to return to Cavs, he would not be doing it for Dan Gilbert. He would be doing it for Cleveland, which deserves a champion.

This contradicts the notion that Cleveland deserves a title.

i want nothing more now then to have James come back to Miami. Just so i can see Gilbert response and the Cavs fans riot the city.

Ha, it would be WW3 if that happened

It's fun to play what if....I know it's a longshot and I wouldn't say the Lakers sign him and Melo. They'd only get one superstar (if any) this offseason and next summer when Nash comes off the books....go looking for somebody else.

1) The bad treatment LeBron got from Cleveland and Gilbert makes it very understandable if James never returns or if he is struggling with the thought of doing so. BUT... it is not, IMO, a reason to say that LeBron shouldn't go back and certainly not a reason to criticize him if he does. The ability to forgive and move on is an extremely positive and admirable trait.

2) The treatment by a small number of fans in Cleveland is being unfairly projected onto all Cleveland fans. 1 guy makes a video of himself burning a LeBron jersey and suddenly "every fan in Cleveland with a LeBron jersey burned it". Sort of like how the behavior of the 50 or so fans who left Game 6 in 2013 got projected onto every Miami Heat fan.

Another thought on Love to Cavs potential...

If Minnesota is not sold on Wiggins potential or if they really are serious about wanting proven players that can produce right away (still don't get that as a good strategy for them)... you can bet there is a team out there with a player Minnesota does want that would love to get their hands on Wiggins. I could see a 3-team deal getting that done.

I just love how everyone is short of putting Kevin Love on Cleveland's roster next season. Minnesota owns him and is going to trade him to the team that can offer them the most in terms of assets. I would imagine that Flip Saunders would want Boston's bevy of first round picks that they accumulated.
