Sheridan saying that Brousard is breaking journalism rules by using an anonymous source to report opinion, rather than fact

It's getting extremely petty now.

I said this earlier. Sheridan acts like HIS source is the ONLY source, and that his source is infallible. Only HE is capable of reporting on this story, because by golly, every word out of his mouth is gospel.

And I seriously doubt at this point he even HAS a source, much less one NOBODY else has.

I'd call that a pick-em, they'd both look horrible. I don't like how Sheridan called Broussard out, but at least Sheridan has stuck by his opinion 100 percent. Broussard is all over the place, saying that "its not 85 percent anymore"

So now rumor as it Cleveland is trying to sell Gilbert's letter as a heat of the moment rant.

Problem is they kept it on a website for 4 years and didn't remove it until 4 days ago. Nobody is going to buy that.

If this doesn't matter to Lebron, IT SHOULD. This dude Gilbert wants his cash cow back, nothing more. You can't be a star player of a franchise and have absolutely NO relationship with the owner, it's just not possible.

All LBJ had to do was resign with Miami right away. 2 weeks later LBJ is going to say that the letter is a big factor. I think LBJ just looks bad.

LBJ is going back to Miami. Everything points to him going back to Miami. He is only talking to Maimi players and front office. He hasn't talked to Cleveland in like 5 days.

Bosh must be pissed because Houston might have to pull the offer by sunday because their back up plan is Parsons. So does Bosh leave with out knowing what LBJ does or does he wait it out and lose money.

It comes down to: Is he madder at Riles for the end of the season press conference or Gilbert's letter....

If he resigns with the Heat, LeBron can avoid the backlash from Cleveland by blaming Gilbert's letter. That should make everyone in Cleveland blame Gilbert.

This should be how it works, but I think we all know Cleveland fans will blame LeBron even though he has not done a single thing that would indicate him returning to Cleveland.

IMO, he would have already signed in Cleveland if not for the letter. Cleveland fans who are lashing out right now are doing nothing but hurting their chances and making this decision easier for LeBron.

So many domino effects to this....if the Rockets match Parsons contract before Lebron decides to go to Cleveland, I could see very well see the Lakers going after Bosh to improve their chances of getting Melo. One way or the other, when Lebron decides, this free agency watch is gonna get fun again
