Crabcakes and ACL tears
holy shit though. RIP richard durrett. The only sane espndallas writer there was. How tragic is that
Topped off by the death of Richard Durrett. Strange season indeed.Frasor, normally good. It appears the BP woes are contagious. Major pitching issues with this team. How fast the tides can turn. I remember a couple years ago when everyone was clamoring on about how the pitching for the Rangers was so great and on the rise. Injuries will derail that quick, however there are some guys that aren't hurt that just aren't getting it done in this strange season
Mother and Grandmother have both had aneurysms, mom's was caught early (after a minor stroke), but grandmother died from hers (bc it was ruptured), while at the hospital her doctor/surgeon said due to those factors me and my sister are 4x more likely than the average population to have issues with them due to genetic tendencies.... With today's news, I should probably get myself checked out
Learning moment for all, an aneurysm is simply the abnormality of the blood vessel in the brain, thats not what kills people, its when the abnormality ruptures thats the killer, not saying no one knows that, but its definitely a common misconception when speaking to people
So point is we could ALL have an aneurysm right now and never even know it til it ruptures, so if you have any family history its a good thing to get checked out
OMG!!!! Richard Durrett....and only 38. I'm in shock...
He'd announce he would be at certain Buffalo Wild Wings during Ranger Games when he had these chats, Will. I met him twice. Still shaking my head over this. Puts things in perspective.
Really sorry about your Grandmother. My Mother died from the same thing on Thanksgiving Day. Tough. This from DMN:
“It hasn’t been a good year for me,” Ross said.
The Rangers sent Ross to Triple-A Round Rock, where he will be used as a starter. The Rangers still envision Ross as a starter, general manager Jon Daniels said, but want him to start to get more innings and more chances to fix his problems.
Little surprised to see him working as a starter.
This maybe the root of the problem. Stop envisioning JD. Get a starter.
Darvish owns a 7.59 ERA in four career starts at the Coliseum in Oakland.

I am too... I can't believe it.
At this point, in a different season and once totally healthy, I'd through Perez. I don't think Darvish has a clue IMO.This is what I was concerned about yesterday before the start. If the Rangers at some point (in a different season) need a playoff/division clinching win against the A's, do you throw Darvish against them with his poor track record.
