I really can't address many other teams. However, we've got an average/above average CF in Martin and same for RF with Rios IMO. Choo is horrible in LF and Choice struggles there too. But MC seems to play better in CF/RF than he does in LF but that's where he's got to get most of his AB.

We have two OF on our 40 man roster, Aducci/Beltre who are both on the DL. So I guess we're not going to get much help from below.

The Astros, Tigers and Indians outfields are pretty bad. Rangers rate in the bottom half (and below average defensively) of most defensive metrics, but certainly not the worst.

You are right. Peterson was hot but not anymore and Smolinski had been on a roll. But probably not ready for the bigs.

Yeah I mostly included the AA guys to show that its a lack of system depth at this point, at least there are some glimmers in AA now that might sniff the majors within the year

Rios can cover some ground, but every single OF we have besides Leonys has a noodle for an arm. You're right about Choice being more comfortable in RF which begs the question: why doesn't Rios move to LF? Maybe he's not comfortable there, but I would think he's a good enough athlete to handle it.

You have any idea when/if Engel Beltre is coming back?

Many want to ignore the 40 man roster situation but that's beyond a slippery slope to do so IMO.

Choice has a decent arm, just terrible instincts in LF

On that Choice makes a nice throw after a terrible defensive effort in LF

None, but when he had surgery it was said he would miss a minimum of 10 weeks which put him coming back sometime middle to end of July

How many Murphys are there in baseball with a first name that starts with a "D"? I know there's Daniel, Donnie and David.

If we had 2 brothers named Darryl then we have something going on there.
