It's a wee bit on the pricey side for a CB but the issue will be potentially for the cap for Seattle since they now have 24 million tied up to two positions in the secondary.
It's not that he's undeserving of it but secondary is sorta like the offensive line in that it's effectiveness is more as a unit and not as just a single person.
The draft is really going to be paramount for Seattle going forward since RW will be up for big time money as well.
That goes without saying but since you brought it up, SF will require better results than they have been getting in the draft. They have many holes and are up against the cap with contracts looming for Kaep and Crabs, plus Boldin and J Smith will need replacements soon.
I think Seattle is in better shape with its roster and the expense of that roster compared to SF.
