Sid is the Peyton Manning of the NHL...is that really that impressive??? I am beginning to doubt his greatness when he continues to no-show in the playoffs

It takes a lot for me to say someone is or will be as good as Sid, I think CMcD will be that guy, the Sid of his generation.

Why not? We fire Disco, trade key players, have other players go down with injury, plus the way we've played since the Olympics makes me think it's very possible.

Why would you fire Disco? If you are trying to tank, wouldn't it make more sense to have a bad coach then a good one.

Because although Disco isn't good enough to take us to the next level anymore, he's too good to let us finish last.

"The next great one"....I hate when critics make these comparisons, but 2 things that i saw about McDav was he skates better than gretzky and handles the puck better as well. Has size to boot which would probably make him strong on the puck.

There will never be another Gretzky but I do think CMcD will be the next Sid .

gretzky was overrated, he never fought and when he was "touched" literally by an opponent there was always a penalty called, so when you are protected your skills become expanded.

He had seasons of 200+ points & 90+ goals. I don't care how much the refs help you out, you don't put up those kind of numbers without mad skills.

You could argue that the refs have helped every superstar going back to the 1980s.

I dont think they helped sid...he wears the C so he is suppose to talk to the refs and I dont think the refs change their calls after theres a conversation
