Yeah, I don't know, it's more Malkin that refuses to shoot, and forgets what makes him good.

One thing when he is going bad he does become predictable, not sure if he has been predictable or just bad/hurt. Probably some of both.

Probably both bad and hurt. I don't think any of their heads are in the game but I wouldn't doubt it if they're playing with injury as well.

To be honest, part of me just wants this season to end already. I haven't had much fun watching the Pens like I normally do. I think I had more fun watching the 2003-04 team. Never had high expectations for that team and it was fun watching them turn it on at the end of the season.

Sid has 0 goals and has a +/- of -5

Tang has 1 point and has a +/- of -1

Kunitz has the worst +/- with -6

No one on the team has more than 3 goals

You know what Kris Letang 's heart problem really is? It's the fact that he has no heart. Shero was an idiot to give him that contract. Now with the heart problems we can 't even trade him

I say we have a fire sale this offseason. Get rid of everyone except for Sid, Geno, & the prospects. Tank next season, get Connor McDavid, & start all over.

Why not? We fire Disco, trade key players, have other players go down with injury, plus the way we've played since the Olympics makes me think it's very possible.

Florida Panthers went from being division champions in 2012 to having the NHL 's worst record in 2013. Pens could easily follow that example.

Panthers also don't have 2 of the top players in the world on their team, like the Penguins do. It wouldn't come remotely close to happening. Penguins could never be as bad as the Isles, Oilers, Flames, Panthers, Sabres..

I respect Hank but I could see Sid, Geno, & CMcD each going off for 100+ points in any given season. That would be an insane amount of firepower in today's NHL.

Sid, yes, Geno, if he doesn't stay healthy, like he hasn't been, no way. McDavid, possibly. You never know, but the kid does have raw talent.

If you believe that Sid is a 100+ point scorer, you gotta believe that CMcD will be one as well, they're essentially the same player.

Sid is a one of a kind talent. Idk if McDavid will come in right away and do it, can he? For sure, but let's see him do it first before we crown him it.

It takes a lot for me to say someone is or will be as good as Sid, I think CMcD will be that guy, the Sid of his generation.
