This is putting words in my mouth, or maybe I misunderstood the post I responded to. Police officers will stop criminals no matter what race. But no race has the right to write the rules for another race unless the rules already brake the rules or laws of society.

Example: if it is your culture to have dog fights, but that is against the law then you should stop that or get punished.

But the thing is, they are not governing the ONE race, its the whole NFL.

And now you will say, "but only black people use the word, because white people can't say it"

And i will ask you, isnt that the DEFINITION of racism if one race is allowed to use a word and another race is prohibited from saying that?

And how can richard sherman be offended by Cooper's use of a racial slur, and at the same time object to it being banned in the NFL?

If he finds the word that offensive he should be happy it is being banned.

Or does he want special treatment, where black people can use a word white people cant? Because again, that is racism at its finest.

To the N word banning, stop thinking about the fact the white man cant say it.... The problem with banning the word is that the white man is once again telling the black man what he can or can not say or do, while choosing something that most black players do...

You think the NFL Commision is made up of only white people? And its not just black people that use that word, hispanics,whites and asians call each other that too. Its depends on if you grow up in a ghetto or surburbia.

Football and Basketball are a majority of black players, and therefore has more black culture than most workplaces... therefore the culture needs to be different... It is one thing for black people to work in business where its a majority of white people, they are the ones who need to fit in... But football is a totally different workplace, and the rules should be different...

WTf is black culture if they are Americans 2nd,3rd,4th,5th,6th,7th etc generation. We are not talking about Zulu Nation here?

So if one people group believe it is ok to murder but we don't like that we shouldn't police that? So we should just let them murder people and say "well that is just part of their culture so who am I to tell them what is allowed to be a part of their culture?" I know that is the extreme but this is not trampling on their culture this is a business decision. No other work force would allow that word to be used anyway by any race. The NFL with how much it is going international and how much more we as fans are allowed to see the behind the scenes looks into the NFL they are trying to protect their image. Can't have a family sitting down to watch some football to only hear players saying the "N" word over and over again on tv. They will lose viewers which in turn loses money which in turn means the players do not make as much. I think the players would rather make more money and have to get rid of one word out of their vocabulary while on camera than the other way around.

Now as for Sherman screaming racism just about every chance he gets it is getting old. Him saying it once or twice is fine but saying it every chance he gets completely destroys any message he is trying to get across. He just looks like a guy trying to find a fight and really not actually caring about the real issue at hand but more just about getting his face on camera. To me he is really hurting his fellow black man by his actions and just making people really question how the heck he got into Stanford.

If you can't see this, or the validity of his questioning of the treatment in these two cases, you just don't want to see it.

I'm not saying it's racist......I'm saying it IS SUSPECT.

As far as the N word goes......if the NFL is banning ALL offensive language, then its fine. But if they are targetting ONE word, that affects only ONE race in the league, it's a racist rule. That's the bottom line. We can talk about society all we want.......but we all know white guys on the field of play are not using that word, it would be career suicide.

Funny how you seem to leave out the fact that Cooper is making half of what Jackson is and yet finished off the season playing better than Jackson with Foles as the quarterback. Jackson's contract was out of control and every year he was screaming for a raise. Throw in there seem to be plenty of rumors circulating of him being a cancer in the locker room plus off the field issues. Now not saying it is all true but usually when there is this much coming out some of it is at least true.

Can't players just be cut because their contracts just no longer help the team? I mean this is like the Vikings punter all over again where he screamed foul that he got fired and blamed it on his views of supporting gay marriage when really he is an average punter at best being paid like a top 10 guy.

Throw in there is talk of hooking almost every player up to microphones and possibly even some video cameras on the helmets to give the fans a more inside view to what is going on on the field. So again the NFL is trying to make it more viewer friendly. Now given not sure why they are not just trying to rid the league of all cuss words but I guess you have to start somewhere and starting with the word that causes the most controversy is a good place to start.
