I don't want Desean jackson in DC and here are my reasons......

1. I view draft picks this year to be very important, and would rather use a 3rd pick on a hole more Glaring then a #2 receiver........Garcon is a LEGIT #1 guy, and would be the #1 guy even if jackson were on the team.

2. His contract....I dont believe he is worth the Money he is owed this year....He didnt earn it last year, and I dont see him earning it this year either....the Skins appear to be done paying guys more for past performances then current projections, which in my opinion is the correct course of action.

2A... his contract....the dude was bitching last year about wanting a raise....really....the guy has basically complained about his contract every fucking year....The Skins don't need a player like this on the team.

3. He is not the best team player...a Me first guy, and this team doesn't need a player like this in the locker room at this point of time.....We need to bring in solid team guys in FA (which apperas to be the case)

4. There have to be several reasons for the Eagles to be trading him, and I have probably listed them above....I dont care how much ego a coach or player has....if a player will help the team, no way you trade him...you make it work.....

HELL NO....We dont need D jackson in DC!!!!

Why are so many of you willing to settle for less? Am I the only person who has witnessed what a true trio of pass catchers in burgundy and gold looks like (Monk, Clark and Sanders)???

Tell you all what.......imagine this, the damage that P. Garcon could do if he's in concert with a big game breaking wideout, another pass catching threat at TE, and Roberts in the slot. I believe that you are all infected with the same mediocre type thinking that has plagued this team for so long. Nice is OK, better is ....er...well better, but the best wins championships when it settles in Washington.

You seem to believe I am against the upgrade. I have already stated I'd be happy with Jackson and even give up our third for him if he signed for 6 mil/season. He won't but I'm not going to keep wasting money the position. I believe Garcon is better than Jackson.

1. We have a high 4th rounder, he should go for that to any team. They want to move him and his money. The organization isn't going to ask for a high pick. They have already devalued him via the media. Garcon and Jackson together is honestly a nightmare match-up for our run game and any pistol/bunch formations.

2/2A. I believe he had a career year, and made the pro-bowl??? He's a young diva...true BUT i'm not sure if his agent didn't have a lot to do with the so-called money complaints.

3. He appears to be a team guy, he STILL runs routes over the middle and still blocks for McCoy. And now that he's been humbled by the fact the Eagles "think" they don't need him anymore....i'm betting you'll see a deadlier Jackson next year.(hopefully not with the Eagles)

4. one reason...Money. The FO/coach sadly assume that they will draft a WR that can make an immediate impact like DeSean. They are overusing Shady...he's bound to get injured and the Eagles will soon find themselves out of the playoffs now that teams have film on them.

IMO...you have to take a chance. WE will have money next year, its a good chance he can completely restructure.

1...if he could be had for a 4th....I would maybe be ok with that, but nothing higher, and with the number of teams interested....I bet it will take more then a 4th.

2. he did have his best year, I will grant that....but part of that was becasue he was the number 1 best target on the team, and had lots of looks.....In DC he would be the #2 to Garcon, and to pay a #2 10Mil....is beyond crazy!!!! How would that make Garcon Feel?....pretty fucking upset Im sure....no way Garcon would consider himself to suddenly be #2..NO WAY!!!! Look how he did the year before he got his contract when he was moping around and not happy...not that impressive to say the least

2A.....his agent telling him to ask for more money.....could be...we dont know....but based on his past with his contracts, if he is gonna allow an agent to tell him to make an issue about the contract already....then he is dumb!!!! But I think it was more Jackson with his contract then agent...my opinion

3. team guys dont cry about contracts every year.....dont hold out becasue he wants more and more money..... and he goes over the middle....yeah for him for doing his job...He blocks...kudos for him for doing his job...Yeah Desean...you were out there doing your job earning your money!!!

4.. I agree they believe they will get someone that comes in and makes an immediate impact...I hope they are wrong....Im sure that Money does have a big part of their decesion...but they are well below the cap and can afford to pay him, so to me that says....although money is an issue, it is NOT the only issue

definetly dont want him!!!!

I think that the point that some are missing is that if Garcon had double the numbers and double the yards, he would still NOT be a game changer type wide-out. Effective...yes, productive....yes, puts doubt into most starting corners that they cannot check him......NO!!!

show me where "game changer" is a prerequisite for being a # one WR

other then megatron , fitz and a few others there arent that many game changers at wr

You've just answered your own question, when you mentioned "Megatron, Fitz, and a few others" won a know what they all have in common? They are all number one wide receivers!

I can see where you think that, but, to me I would have to go along way to make that comparison. At 6 foot three 210 pounds Art Monk in combination with Ricky Sanders and Gary Clark was a lethal trio. When Clark and Sanders left the team and played elsewhere their production dropped off drastically. Insert Charlie Brown into Washington's lineup and he becomes a very good player. Want to guess who the constant was? I am still waiting for Garçon to make others better.

Our offensive system is what made Art Monk great. He didn't do much outside of DC. the constant was the system and Joe Gibbs.

What has any of the #1 WRs ever accomplished in today's game? Who was the last true #1 WR to win a SB?

Fitz isn't a #1 BTW.

Explain how people still think Fitz is a #1.

Josh Gordon is a #1 too...he's right there with Megatron.

gordon could be a great number one if he can maintain his level of play and all indications are he can

of course fitz is a number one wr . the question is what level is he as a number one

How is he a #1 other than his name? He's not the 1400 Fitz anymore.

His last 1,000 yard season was 2011 and his average/reception is below 12 YPC. He was actually the #2 WR in ARI based on production last season with Floyd breaking the 1,000 yard mark.

I suppose, Garcon will make our offensive system great then, or will he be working within a system? BTW; Art Monk was 150 years old when he left here (actually 37)

come on sty , monk wasnt the guy to take a short pass and go 80 . he was a guy that caught everything thrown to him and moved the chains

Tell you what he was, his presence on the field made everyone else more lethal, still waiting for Garcon to do that, but being a career #2 he'll never do more than have numbers himself. This is why everyone who objects to his being a #2 want a reliable second option to him instead of doing the obvious......get a guy who as the teams #1 makes Garcon more lethal.

monk had quality put around him sty . and again i dont think you know what a number one wr is because the standards you are applying to garcon are stuff great wrs do .

we are talking about the position of number one wr he is a number one wr . he might be the 10 or 11th best one but he is one . there are 32 number one wr positions not 6

I value your opinion, just disagree with it. I'll say this again......P. Garcon is a #1 WR on THIS TEAM!!!! as currently comprised. That is NOT to say that the team COULD NEVER bring in a guy who performs better than he in this new system.

If by some miracle ( as some suggest it would be) the team acquires/drafts a player who does perform better in this system than Garcon, he COULD only be the #2 because Garcon has the #1 locked up.....right?

I do believe that the team, just like every other team looks to up-grade all of the time and at every position. Why not WR?..............Well, according to you guys, because NO ONE could ever come in and by virtue of his play, be BETTER than P. Garcon........Sad!!!!

I'm trying to figure out your definition of #1 WRs Sty.

Who is the #1 in Arizona?

How about this.............A guy who not only consistent in his ability to catch the ball, but because of his size and speed commands extra special attention, opens the field for others to flourish, and is able to go up an get the ball over shorter and taller DB's. Who is this guy? In a more pass friendly offense that Mr. Gruden promises, it has to be any of the bigger wide-outs that Coach wishes to have.

Now some say that P. Garcon is that guy......I happen to disagree. Some say that we cannot up-grade (above and beyond Garcon) at the WR position.......I happen to disagree......and ....some say that, the team could never bring in a guy who has the ability to supplant P. Garcon as the #1.........again, I disagree.
