Smh at Dwight. He's being guarded by Bosh and he's content to sit back and watch everyone else in the 4th quarter
NBA Director of Officials Don Vaden talked about it in a Q&A on NBA.com.“This season you will notice a change in how we enforce the delay of game penalty based on conversations with the Competition Committee. It’s not a “no-touch” provision, but players will no longer be permitted to direct the ball after it clears the net. Going forward, an offensive player who catches the ball after a made basket and passes it to a referee will receive a delay of game warning (if team’s first delay) or a delay of game penalty if it’s their second.”
Is that not what Dwight did? You guys are making a big stink about this just because it is Miami but the rule is simple, as an offensive player do not touch the ball or pass it to a ref
Of course, losing 5 out of the last 6 shows "all is well".

Hate the rule, not the application of it. It was a LEGIT call.
What's killing me is how they are just letting physical contact go ,they aren't calling ANYTHING. That greatly benefits the Rockets, with Howard able to just mow people down.
What's hurting the Rockets is taking too many 3s, especially when you clear out for BEVERLY to shoot it. Just STUPID

you can say it has nothing to do with being a laker fan. but im calling bullshit. maybe if all laker fans didnt root against miami i would believe that it has nothing to do with being a laker fan. but ive never seen an entire fan base hate another team so much that they have never played one time in the playoffs. not just in basketball either.. in all of team sports, i have never seen something like this.
If you were saying this back in the 80s or 90s you will be laughed at
Did Beverley just ask if lebron was ok and then give him a technical??? LOLOL
Yes, I would probably laugh at myself. But the fact is, you're not even allowed to really handcheck in todays game. I'm seeing guys CLEARLY get hacked, on layups and dunks, and the refs are just letting it go.
It's not really a big deal, but calling a game like that really benefits a player like Howard.
In essence, the Rockets don't have any excuses for losing this game should they lose.
Much needed win against a top team
Yep refs doing the heat a massive favor

I know the game is over but that tech made no sense.
good win for Miami 15-2 run to close the game. this would be a great finals.
