I wonder if anyone in the Kindergarten class ever told Micro to fuck off when he told them there was no Santa Claus?

Very interesting comment from one of the Lions beat writers on Mlive:

"If you were a GM of any other team in the NFL next year (besides the Lions) what kind of a contract would you offer Suh? Would you make him the highest paid defensive player in the league?" -- Jeff, email

Great question and yes, I wouldn't hesitate to keep Ndamukong Suh as the highest-paid defensive tackle in the NFL. He represents the trifecta you want in a player: Marketable, productive and durable.

Sure, there are some off-the-field quirks, and there have been some minor legal issues involving motor vehicles and pellet guns, but none of that stuff impacts his dominance on the football field.

With the salary cap expected to skyrocket the next couple years, it's also no longer problematic for the Lions to have so much cap space tied up in three players.

Im on board with that. The lions have spent years being laughingstocks and although they are still a joke, its not as bad as it used to be, they are finally building a core of players and suh is in a league of his own. The lions land an incredibly talented player and everybody is ready to get rid of him because he will cost too much.

Looked like more left shoulder to upper chest than a head shot. I hope the NFL sees it the same way. He's gonna get no slack from them.

Noone is in a hurry to get rid of Suh. Most just dont want it so high that it becomes a detriment to the rest of the team. We have Stafford for that. You dont have to worry about overypaying Megatron. It is not possible (he is that good).
