Huskers get Friday off.

Nice to give the pitching the extra day rest while whoever next opponent will be will have to tax their pitching more.

Was a great game and atmosphere to be at last night. I wonder what kind of atmosphere a 9am game will bring on Saturday. Can't wait!!

The Big Ten Baseball Tournament set a new total attendance record following a second day of record-setting crowds. The two-day total of 22,156 establishes a new conference record for a single tournament, while Thursday's attendance of 11,756 established a single-day tournament attendance record, surpassing the 10,400 who attended Wednesday's opening games.

Only two days?

the real question is, how much of that was because Nebraska was playing? We'll find out today, I'd hope at least 4-5k show up to watch. I know if someone asked me to go with them and gave me a free ticket, I'd probably go. I like baseball and hanging out at the park.

Well most of it obviously. Nebraska had about 11,000 at the Michigan St game.

I was disappointed in the attendance at the Indiana/Michigan game last night. I think you'll see better Hosier fan support on Saturday and definitely if they make it to the championship on Sunday.

The teams and fans that get eliminated need to go back home and sell the product to their AD's. Their experience playing in the crown jewel stadium in all of college baseball. The Big 10 has some decent baseball teams as shown by the close games in this tournament. There are a lot of teams that are close to being regional quality. Indiana made the CWS last season, so it can be done.

Our newest member Maryland is dealing the ACC Tournament fits right now with a (7-6) win over #3 Virginia yesterday, and are currently leading #6 Florida St (5-0) in the 8th.

I almost stayed for the Indiana/Michigan game last night but you have to remember that the game didn't start until 10pm and people had to work or go to school today. I did go home and watch the game though.

Fuck. I hope I didn't jinx Maryland.

Noles have scored 2 in the top of the 8th and have no outs.

Yeah. I watched it on tv.

Not many from out of state there.

Maybe the Iowegians will show up today since they had a gritty win yesterday to stay alive.

Illinois is on the bubble for a regional. Their fans should be here for support. :noidea:

My daughter has a dance recital :L

Edit: My daughter has two recitals. One early and one late.

So even if there is a DH. I won't get to go.

Michigan just homered to go up 5-1 in the bot 5th.

That's 4 total homers hit in the tournament.

Twice during this Iowa/Michigan game, the announcer has said "The winner takes on Nebraska tomorrow". :L

He is wrong. The winner takes on Indiana.

BTW the score is 7-1 Michigan in the bot 7th.

No.... They are right. The winners of the elimination games today flip to other bracket. Michigan State flips from Bracket 1 to Bracket 2 to play Indiana and tonight's winners goes from Bracket 2 to 1 to play Nebraska
