Just another scheduling idiocy of the Big 10. I know TDAP is a "neutral field" and it is the conferences tourney. But the reason it moved here was for money. I don't care how far in advance the bracket was laid out, make the Nebraska game an evening/night game!!! Maximize the attendance when possible. At least for the first game!!! I understand that all other games have to fall into certain times and all that but the first games can be moved around. The CWS has always done that for the first weekend and they do it after all the teams have qualified.

#4Minnesota/#5 Michigan should be the 9:00 AM or 1:00 PM game.

#2 Nebraska/#7 Ohio St should be the 5:00 game at least.

To me it really doesn't have so much to do with Nebraska, but more to do with having the higher seeded teams playing in prime time when people can watch.

I guess the best slot is the 5:00 PM game and #1 Indiana is deserving of that.

9:00 AM is too early and 9:00 PM pretty late. That late game won't get over until about 11:30-midnight so the kids would be tired in school the next day, but at least they'd get to go.

They'll be in school 1:00 PM on Wednesday.

Oh. If you were southwest of Standing Bear, I was going to say it could have been the Omaha Fire Dept training center on Blair High Rd and Rainwood doing an exercise.

It could have been some farmer with a burn pile. They use diesel fuel to get those started and it creates a lot of smoke initially.

Well if Nebraska wins at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, they'll play at 5:00 PM on Thursday.

Basically the #1 seed got the best time slot on opening day.

i don't think 1 o'clock is that bad of a time slot. I mean, I work like 6 blocks from the stadium. I'm working half the day then just walking over there for the game. seems simple enough to me for plenty of people to go.
