Kirk Cousins open to being traded by Washington Redskins - ESPN
this might be more a reality then we thought

I don't see how cousins' opinion has any impact whatsoever. Either they get the value they want in exchange or they don't.
If it's anonymous league sources, not a public statement on the issue, and also not a "seeking a trade", I don't draw the same conclusion. It sounds like someone asked him and he said something along the lines of "I'd be ok with that".
If he was unhappy, you're damn sure ESPN would be selling that.
If we do trade Cousins do you think we draft a QB like Tajh Boyd with a 5th or 6th rounder

He may be open to it (that shouldn't be any surprise, is it?) but it doesn't mean the team is. At some point, KC is more valuable to us as a back up than as a potential draft pick. I put that at about a 3rd round pick. If that's all we can get, might as well keep him. If we can get a second or more, trade him.
i think all you will get is a 3rd rounder and depending on what slot it is it could be worth it .[/
That's right on the border for me. I guess if it was a high 3rd, I would consider it.

if he doesnt have a future here then get something for him . if we get a 3rd for him we still gain from him .
right now if i am a GM i will pay no more then a 3rd for him .
he is 1-3 as a starter
he is a career 56% passer has 8 tds vs 10 ints and he still has the same penchant for throwing ints that he did at MSU .
and he has a career 68.2 passer rating which is pedestrian
the browns have a shot at the best qb in the draft at #4 overall so KC is a guy looking to be a BU there at some point again
if i am the browns i pick a qb at 4 and bring in the cheap grossman in as the BU rather then give up a 1st 2nd or maybe even a 3rd for KC i bring in wheedon and hoyer in as competition as well
if i am the skins i would look at hoyer
No way'you trade him for a 3rd I take 2 picks a 3rd and 6th maybe
Five Thoughts: Washington Redskins QB Kirk Cousins - ESPN
more on KC
soon the dc press corp will make this into another team divide
i dont know . what i do know is gruden doesnt have a vested interest in any "pick value " the shanny's and the fan base may have placed on him . so it could be easier to trade him
if we do trade him i expect we will sign a vet qb , (perhaps older ) rather then draft one . of course we will have 4 qbs in camp

If they trade him & need a vet backup - how about this guy?![]()
