Yes he did. In 2012 / 2013.

And he's already won a ton of playoff games; and he's still young. His 2010 regular season was really good too.

For some ridiculous reason Matt Ryan gets a bunch of hype, and Ryan can't carry the detergent used to wash Flacco's jock much less the jock itself.

But this thread is about coaches, so let's not make this a Flacco thread.

They can't help themselves, it's the Putzburgh haterade they drink up there in rusty steel town.....

Did you look at succo's stats this season? he was like the 30th rated passer in a lot of categories..........and o, besided that nice playoff run, hes always had mediocre stats..........hence why they werent gfiving him a contract...........they pigeon holed when he had and awesome playoff run, they couldnt not pay him, the fans would revolt..............otherwise they probably move on

I do recall many a people saying they werent sure joe was the man............

:agree:

Regular season stats have never been Flacco's strongsuit, but they did what they had to with Flacco... But Kubiak is definitely going to have his hands full with the "Flacco Project". The Kubiak hire is definitely comparable to the Haley hire, as in both being high profile.

2012 & 2013 season??? He posted 2 of the worst QBR's ever recorded during that season.. I'm talking Sanchez-like numbers. The playoff run was a different story though.

Flacco doesn't wear a jock, he wears a pink frilly g-string

I think its a great hire. I was hoping for Kubiak but NOO... we still stuck with Roman.

Never been a Flacco fan but I can see his game improving under Kubiaks guidance.

I have to say...it's pretty hilarious to see how butthurt Steelers' fans are these days. They just haven't come to grips with the fact that their team is irrelevant.

A team that is irrelevant?? Pittsburgh finished 2nd in the AFCN... Ravens were 3rd... Tell me again about being irrelevant?

naw...I completely got past that watching the REAL ravens miss the playoffs entirely. Just when you stooges proclaimed them as better than last years lucky version of half a team. I doubt next year is looking any better for you either. Just when you thought the rest of the league feared the mighty ravens, we're actually laughing instead.

You better be worried about the Hawks taking your lunch this yr, because Grandpa Manning ain't coming back anymore.....He's running on fumes now and your team is pitiful without him....
And we have fresh shiny Lombardi to help us through 1 down season in the last 6, while you are living on John's ancient 2 out of 6....Don't sell the farm just yet Goober, you still ain't won nothing since the 90's....Yaaawn !!!!!:laugh3:

Yeah, a record number of passing yards and passing touchdowns.

Elway wasn't 2 for 6. But you are right, we haven't won anything since the 90s. Hopefully that changes on Sunday.

The Ravens are defending Super Bowl champs. The Steelers haven't been a winning ballclub since they were Teblowed.

BTW...don't come on to a thread that has nothing to do with Steelers, talk shit about the Ravens...and then act like you aren't butthurt.

This is funny to me. Didn't their defense end when they failed to make the playoffs? Regardless, enjoy hanging onto that one for another 4 days.

They have the most recent Lombardi and he was MVP....They just hired a high profile SB winning OC , I'd say that's pretty smart.....But everyone on the planet knows , nothing smart comes out of Putzburgh....:laugh3:

no, it wasn't smart Flacco looked great in the post season last year because of those around him.....over pay Flacco, cant afford the receivers who got him that super bowl ring, and you see what the result this year was

what do the hawks have to do with how terrible the ravens are ?? now you're living vicariously through them ? and just for good measure you go out of your way to prove your football prowess by stating that the best quarterback performance in the history of the game is considered "running on fumes" ??? is nitwit a strong enough word ?

Everything good OS. This was a great hire. I was really hoping for the Kubiak/Shanahan/Dennison combination with Castillo departing, but I am certainly happy.

I'm pretty sure it ends when there is a new Super Bowl champion. That's how it usually works. I could be mistaken though.
