Obvious on the replay that the Duck knocked it out of play. The league needs to expand replay and quit worrying about how much delay in the game time it'll mean or just get rid of it all together. It was a lot easier to take these bad calls before instant replay came into being.

I've never seen a team get more passes tipped and shots blocked. Its like the King offensive game plan seems to be to intentionally wait until the opponent is in the passing/shooting lanes before making a play with the puck.

Not sure it's in the game plan but they do seem to hold the puck far too long before trying to make a pass or take a shot.

That's pretty much what they've done the entire month of January. That first 40 seconds or so of power play at the end of the second period looked horrible. I just wish they'd play with the urgency they show on the power play that they play with on the penalty kill. I have no idea what the problem is with the offense but it looks to me like they've lost all confidence in their ability to score. Every power play it looks to me like they think they have to have a perfect passing play to create an open net to shoot at in order to score. And they still have the same problem 5-on-5. No traffic in front of the opposing goalie. They are making Hiller's job way too easy tonight.

Yeah, usually it's in December but looks like it got delayed a month this year. Sure hope you're right about turning it around after the Olympic break. If not it's going to be another tough struggle just to make the playoffs.
