Yeah Pete. It's not the team we all anticipated for this year but it is what it is and they're our boys. I've been through a lot worse seasons with this team.

So did the NHL make a rule that on penalty shots you must shoot into the goalies pads

If I were a NHL goalie at one of these events I would have my pads look like the netting so the other team doesn't know what to shoot at.

Watching this period makes me get the idea that our team isn't as good as we think they are. Or maybe as good as we think they ought to be. So far they are getting outplayed by what on paper is overall a less talented team. It's why the NHL makes them play the games and don't set up the playoffs on paper.
