David Amerson

David had some ups and downs this past season. We obviously will address CB in FA but is Amerson a starter this year or is he likely moved to slot duty?

I think the kid has a lot of potential and played fairly well this year. Is he ready to start? Wont know until preseason, but I hope he is busting his ass this offseason. I think it is just a matter of time until he is a very productive starter. He has all the physical gifts to be very good.

Without question Amerson is the starter opposite either a FA or draft pick. Hall likely moves to S or slot.

I was somewhat curious as to what his role would be this year, IF we landed a Talib, Shields, Verner, Cason
and re-signed Hall. If we had Talib, Amerson and D.Hall, I'm not sure if he could beat out Hall just yet.
I too believe that he had a solid rookie year and with added strength and better pursuit angles make a huge leap this year.

I just don't see us signing Talib, Shields and hall. Maybe hall and shields. There will be room for Amerson.

sorry it was like an example, either one of those guys. If we missed on Talib, I think Shields would be solid considering the receivers he faces off against in his division.

I think shields would fit in better here. I'd like to see us pick him up along with Byrd or Bethea for a safety. Maybe move hall to safety and start Amerson.
