The banner is fine, but honestly I don't like how bright the page is, it's gaudy and hurts my eyes. I would prefer a darker, more understated look (or at least an option for such).

Not a professional or anything, but appreciate the compliment. Basically just taught myself everything I know from watching youtube tutorials and what not. It takes some time and there's plenty that I still have learn. GIMP is a free program hat I use - it may night have all the bells and whistles as Photoshop, but it gets the job done.
