Not one on this board tonite was in shock so bad they could not articulate some thoughts on the game. We could easily have blown up, but why and to what end, getting relegated to the TB over a football game that was well played on both sides minus a few breaks for one team at crucial moments. I dont get the meltdown thing, that denotes you have not had success and crave what little bit you can get, atleast it does to me.

Been there, done that, got the tshirt. Want a meltdown same time tomorrow night and you will see one possibly by either Clemson fans or tOSU fans.

Can't speak for others, but for me personally, the season ended with the Iron Bowl. I was never really excited for this game and oddly it didn't bother me that we lost last night, I felt like I was watching a spring game or something. All I've been thinking about is who's leaving, and who will be coming in for next year. So that's why there has been no hell raising from me, I honestly didn't care. I'm spoiled, I know.

This was no Utah for the players though, I know they were motivated for this game. They just didn't execute and OU did, they are the better team this year.

We had a lot of problems this year with injuries, lots of young players in the secondary and the OL, and I wasn't too fond of a lot of Nussmeier's play calling. We are a run first team, and while it was great to see AJ put up 300 yards in the first half, we would've been better suited to feed Henry and Yeldon the rock and use play action more.

I'm damn sure excited for next season though. I'm ready to find out who wins the starting QB job, and see the improvements of the OL and secondary, and most importantly see us whoop ass and win the very first College Football Playoff.

Not buying what your selling. This game ment nothing to you, no fucking way. I know you had higher hopes and goals for the season, but to say it ment nothing to you is a line of crap. This was still the Sugar Bowl, you would have pointed out the Tide/SEC dominance had they won, and you knew the shit storm that would be coming if OU pulled off the upset. There is no way you didn't give a shit about the game.

I know fans of other lesser teams are pilling on Alabama today and they are owed nothing. However, the loyal OU fans that have had to hear over and over about Chokelahoma, Big Game Bob, losing bowl games & NCs, and Saban the Great deserve more than your pathetic excuse that you didn't care about the game. And I hate OU slightly lest than Texas.

I enjoyed the hell out of watching Michigan State, both in the B1G champ game and the Rose Bowl. I think living in the Big12, was fun to watch a defense play the way Texas D used to play back in the day. Loved every minute of those games.

With Alabama's recent success, are they inferior to anyone? Only ND and USC compare in a historical standpoint, but ND hasn't done much in 20 years and USC hasn't been relevant for nearly a decade.

No bowl game except for one has real meaning, and that one is this upcoming Monday. All other bowl games are exhibition games, and at best, teams are playing for #3 or lower. That's just the way it is.


Sure, Bama fans want to win those when the team plays, but its not that devastating to lose also-ran bowls. What's devastating are losses that knock Bama out of title contention.

Now since BSU has never played in the one game that has real meaning, I can see how their fans would chest-thump over also-ran bowls. What's curious though is that they chest-thump over victories in which their own team had no part whatsoever.

It's ok to be upset after a BCS loss. But why feed into the trolling? Alabama has won 3 of the last 4 National Titles. Jesus Christ, you can't expect to win them all.
