How do you not sellout playoff games?
What an elitist asshole.

12th man doesn't play in a stadium with a capacity of 80,000 and they wouldn't be playing in sub-zero windchill weather as a fairly heavy underdog after a disappointing season. 12th man's consecutive sellout streak also only goes back what... 8 years or so? Not that impressive.
Many of those tickets Pre-Wilson era and post SB era were given away for free for many businesses. People would throw them in the trash like they were triple A tickets 4 years ago. Now all of a sudden everyone is magically a fan again.
How do you know this?
How many Hawk games do you go to per year? Or at least how many were you going to 4 years ago?
Weird. I thought this thread was about the three teams struggling to sell tickets this week, not an excuse for Hawks fans to try to act superior. The only reason I said anything is because certain people have tried to make this thread about the Seahawks... yet again.![]()
I'd go if I was sitting in a luxury box. I refuse to sit with the rabble, though.
Honestly glad to hear this, as the economy has gotten worse, entertainment prices, especially for sporting events, have risen. Fans are making rational choices not to go because they don't get their money's worth or can't afford it.
local military bases would have 100's of tickets each week for free waiting at the gate. Now they pay and have a lottery for just a few tickets. I wonder why that is? I've been to at least one game every year except in 10. I consider them my second fav team since I've lived here for a while and many of previous Badgers and Packers have been and are currently playing for the Hawks. This town is hilarious as now everyone is a Hawks fan when a couple years ago there wasn't a peep. This sitting is really hurting for a winner as it's been a sad and depressing dry spell with the exception of their Women's basketball.
12th man would have those seats sold out lickty split.
Bullshit lol what you were stationed at Fort Lewis? the only time i recall where tickets were a issue is when Behring owned the Hawks.
Dude i am over 40 Hawk fan since they became a team don't piss up my leg and tell me it's raining, shit my dad had season tickets to the Sonics and Hawks for many years.
Green Bay has a far better record than Seattle does as far as selling out... In the early 2000's they were constantly struggling to sell out. But yeah, now that they are good the woodwork has emptied. But I agree, and I think even if the forecast was negative degrees you guys would still sell out that game now.

Oh no, this guy goes to games all the time and apparently they were empty until a few years ago.
I seriously dont know why people make this shit up. That place was packed even when Mora and Ruskell were driving the team in to the ground.
Aren't they the same ones always talking about how the game is intended to be played in the elements and how they brave them no matter what?
